Why are some emigrants so proud of their home country but still immigrate to other countries?

The leaders prior to 1776, would not be supportive of 12-30 million Mexicans illegally crossing our borders in the dead of night demanding USA speaks Spanish, feeds, clothes houses, educates said 12-30 million and cares for them while they elect to remain in America, being Mexican citizens for the rest of their lives.
In America, national pride starts with America. It's actually silly for residents of USA to have pride in some other nation when they no longer live there. It means they are displaced and have literally NO HOME.

There is nothing wrong with having Pride from where you came from...it is natural I would think...but it isnt a good idea to go to another country and wave your national flag and demonstrate against the country you went to. In my opinion, that is just UNGRATEFUL behaviour...this is a free country yes...but your also free to LEAVE it too if you dont like it here...but the reason they come here is the oppurtunities they can have...

because the economy of most of the cities in their home countries aren't good enough to live a good life off of...

I watch mexican soccer..
and I eat mexican food..
my boyfriend is mexican..
and so is my daughter..
it's not about what country you come from..
it's about what culture you grew up with..
it's what you love..
its just too hard to live some places..
when you can't make money for your family..

Its about their own feeling of superiority. Saying that Mexico is a better country while living in the United States. Its just a way to insult the American people and in the process they embarass themselves with a moronic statement.

If they loved it so much, they wouldn't leave. THey don't.
But they come here to take advantage of us, suck us dry, and then deride us . They want what we have. It creates a situation that they really resent where they came from for not offering this lifestyle to them.
They then feel guilty and are compelled to overcompensate by this false bravado of loving their country of origin MORE and hating us in the process.

I have no idea, but I wonder the same thing. I live in the Chicago area. We have Mexican pride parade and Puerto Rican pride parades. There are tons of illegals that show up and I ask the same thing. If you are so damn proud, go back. And here is another original idea, if you are so proud then why do you march and have protests about your lack of rights in the US. If it is so bad here please leave. You are not wanted anyway.
I have no idea why. My husband is an immigrant he doesn't wave a foreign flag or anything. When one of his countrymen from his former country compete with the USA in sports, he routes for both of them. You must adapt to your new country or you will be left behind.
