it amazes me how religious people are in America but to be honest were all atheist, just because you wont face the fact that your an on-demand religious person who picks and chooses when you want to represent Gods word...they mean well and give the $5 but when you start messing with the American dream and how many 12 packs they are going to be without because they are too lazy to work.thats when the intolerance and ignorance comes in...doesnt God teach to help out a person in need and to give to the poor?
there will always be racism. it just shifts from focus to focus. we just have to deal with it.
The Indians and the africans were illegally immigrating here and:
-forging documents
-committing identity theft
-bringing illegal drugs along with them
-jumping ahead of the line and breaking immigration law

The Indians and Africans we living today are not responsible for. What we are responsible for (and our business) is to protect our tax dollars and services that we pay for from who comes here in mass numbers (and Hispanics make up a majority of the undocumented race...a generalization). This is our right when the services become used by those who do not pay into them. That is not "picking" on a particular race.
If Mexico was going to blow up next week or something, I could see mass number of Hispanics coming here, however, there is still a huge country called Mexico left...
Once again, illegal is illegal, undocumented is undocumented, and laws are laws.

To treat everyone equally, I demand that everyone obey the laws of my country equally -- and over 12 million people have deliberately broken at least one of those federal laws.

I don't think it's a uniquely American problem. It's more obvious in America because there are more opportunities for different races to come together.
Many countries have similar problems, but the percentage of minority is so small that they don't even stand a chance to make a noise. They would just accept racism as a fact of life and don't fight it. We should be glad that we can openly discuss this issue. Actually, more Americans are aware of racism is a bad thing than many countries I have been to.
People who are against Mexicans or any immigrants have a wrong impression that money is a zero-sum game. The more people there are, the more jobs there will be. In fact, countries with few children or immigrants experience economic drawbacks from population aging.
You should worry about the day Mexicans stop coming.
I personally think the Mexican issue was bought up to blow off the steam in the Middle-East crisis and the rapid decline of economy.
