What does it take for a us citizen to move to another country?

we are thinking about moving to costa rica, and we were wondering what all does it take? thanks to anyone who can answer this for us. we know we need a passport and greencard. thanks

You have to comply with the immigration laws of that country. Because you wouldnt want to be caught dead in some countries without having done so.
it won't take much. other countries are not as hard to immigrate to as it is in the u.s.
