Is it unacceptable to fly lets say a Texas flag if I live in Kansas?

To fly a Mexican flag because you're proud of your heritage is ok but to fly the Mexican flag because your loyalty to Mexico is stronger than your loyalty to America is NOT ok.
you fly your flag where ever you want, its a free country. i will suggest not flying a texas flag in kansas, because we will tear it down, burn it, and pee on it.

There is some rule writen by the government on the proper hanling of flags. You can fly a flag of a foreign country, as long as the American flag is flying beside it at a higher or at least equal height. Also the flying of the Mexican flags in certain circumstance like the protest is done to provoke people. Its one thing to fly it in attempt to show pride on ones heritage, Its another to fly it in a protest against America. I do agree its not best to fly a flag of a foreign country with out a corresponding american flag. Its kind of a statement of an invasion when one does that.
As for the Texans flag, I am actually more annoyed to see it flown in California, than the Mexican flag. I guess its considered rude, to some, but the rules I read on this subject applies to national flags. Although it did state one can't fly a state flag higher than our countries flag either.
edit: Why I am annoyed at the texan flags. Until last year, I am more likely to tell a Texans to go back to where he came from than any other group of people. I have a love hate relation with them.
I dont recall anyone complaining about flying a countries flag,I do think it is disrespectful for Mexico to burn Americas flag while Americans have giving them more than enough ,Our government sends Mexico billions of dollars and takes care of millions more here,I agree with whoever said they are biting the hand that feeds them in the answers section quite a few times. Texas is apart of the United States, Mexico is not. So if your a Texan living in Kansas, no one will find a problem with that. You may be taken for a redneck however if your a Kansas born resident flying the Texas flag.
waving a state flag in another state is not a problem: its all american. standing in america...illegally...fighting for rights that were never theirs...and waving a flag and saying viva la mexico, is a little insulting. Those legal immigrants who wave their flag in front of their homes arent trying to make a statement. I wouldnt go over to Great Britain and wave an american flag on their newstations and demand that I be made a citizen immediately . It shows a disrespect towards that country. I could care less if I saw a Mexico flag waving in front of a house, I care when a Mexico flag is being waved in America by someone who first, is illegal, and hasnt taken one step towards embracing or even trying to learn about our culture, or wont even learn our language, and not only are they waving it, but waving it in front of our state capital. Just disrespectful to us. Its just plain disrespectful that the person at the store cant understand English. Its unfortunate though, because America is catering to their needs and nobody, not even our stupid politicians are doing anything about it.
