Do you honestly think those Illegals will take those crappy jobs if they had the chance? No, they would head straight for the Petroleum Plants and replace people like my father and all of his friends because they can be paid less. They are illegal because they are on our soil and not Americans.
First of all, people should not be illegal unless they do something wrong. The world isnt owned by anyone so people should be able to go and live wherever they want. So everyone should have equal rights in every country.
They dont have rights and are really annoying us to the point of no return so keep it up illegals and the damn is gonna break and noone will be there to help you ungrateful riffraff!
Doesn't bother me. The people came here to work, and are helping the country run by doing so, mostly in jobs that citizens would rather not do.

I think you annoy me more than anyone else, regardless of their status. You seem especially annoying posting really infantile questions.
We play but are not serious about illegals. Amnesty failed and still the gov twiddles it's thumbs. this is a matter of national security. We need to make it a felony to hire undocumented workers. They can pay the fines but I doubt they are willing to pay the time. When they have no jobs they will show up asking for benefits they never paid for then we can send them home. We citizens have to show a birth certificate to obtain driver's license. First we MUST secure our borders.
Yes I am, but we have to grant them certain rights because we are a law abiding nation. One of the rights they should not enjoy is to be here. I am angry that the law is only important if it benefits them, but laws they hate, they are free to violate.
As for other countries, yes, there are EUropean countries that do tolerate this behavior, and the people are reacting similarly like us. France comes to mind as well as England. Sarkozy is now planning to do something about Frances immigration problem because of the Muslim immigrants rioted some time back.
Edit: TO RHSaunders. The number one jobs illegal immigrants take now is Construction. It is a highly desirable jobs that pays decently.

i get disgusted, not annoyed. they want a slice of what i work very hard for and they sure get one! why dont they demand rights in their own countries? i cant believe they still demand more after i see them getting free healthcare(while i have to wait in line and pay hundreds of dollars to doctors and health insurance), welfare and school benefits. funny things is, im only 17 and im paying the price(along with other citizens) for illegals. at school this year, all the illegal students got fee waivers for their SAT's and AP tests...while i didnt stand a chance of getting one! i had to pay for all of mine. im not rich. i work hard and pay all the way. i am a citizen. the government needs to put citizens first!!

I try not to be prejudice but in England what seems to happen is.A lot of people come here because they don't like it where they are, but when they get here they try to change everything so its the same here as it is where they came from. and things get changed so they are not offended. the local town Hall has said it will not put up a banner this year saying "Happy Christmas" in case it offends any other religion so they have decided to put up a banner saying "happy ead" well I'm sorry if this makes me prejudiced but that offends me.

Yes I do. If I were to move into another country I would first learn the basics of the language which would include at least enough to get by with little help from a translator. I would have a purpose for moving there, and I would have prospective employment lined up. I would also enter the country only if I could do so legally and I would make sure of the laws and regulations regarding my move. If I may say, the illegal immigrants entering the U.S. are not adhering to my standards. They do not have any rights in my country as far as I am concerned and most of them have no allegiance to this country. As an American, I say that if you are here in my country illegally you have no right to complain and I want you to leave my country now. Don't let the door hit you on the *ss on the way out.

I am Hispanic born and raised in California my father was born in Texas but his parents were born in Mexico, they both became citizens the right way and had my dad in Texas. My mom was born in Mexico but my grandfather and grandmother became citizens also the correct way and my mom and her siblings all became naturalized citizens. My question is what do you feel about Bush wanting to give (papers) to so many (illegals)? I personally disagree and here is my point. They are showing absolutely no respect for the laws now just by being here illegally so why reward them by giving them all rights? If my grandparents could come to United States attain work visas and do everything the correct way to become citizens why can't others do the same? Reward those that come over here the correct way not those that come over breaking laws. I will tell you what annoys me,FACT,In Owensboro,Ky,Field packing co. they have fired as many as ten americans at a time and hire as many as twenty Mexicans at a time,let's see are those jobs americans won't do ?Or yet,are those jobs americans had but was fired from so they could be replaced by Mexicans? It's not just in Owensboro,it's everywhere.Did you know more americans are killed by illegals in one day in america than are killed in the war in a week? Come to grips people we need a new party,A real American party,that cares for america,if it's not to late.
Undocumented people, do not come here and go to government agencies "demanding rights" Many do figure out how to apply for government aid, but our government created it. They are simply using what is given to them, by OUR government. To my understanding, people are fed up with "undocumented" people taking American jobs, but NO ONE is saying anything when corporate companies are moving to Malaysia, India, China, Mexico, Taiwan, Turkey, etc. This country was founded on exploiting people from other countries, who played a major role in building this great country. Our government really has to open their eyes to the big picture and stop focusing on greed. How can we "buy American" when our government is not making it harder for companies to operate in other countries.

The only people who should be complaining are the American Indians as to who is in the United States now. Hispanic is a made up word since the 1970's by the U.S. Govt. grouping ALL Latinos together, thus losing our individual indentity and country of origin. Hispanic literally means "from Spain". Latinos is a better usage. The correct term is "undocumented" and not "illegals" or even "aliens"
It seems like once people are legal in the U.S., they then want to close the doors and forget where they came from. I challenge the fact that you do not have ANY family members who arrived in the U.S. with FULL documentation since day one. Many countries are corrupt, and less fortunate. If you, your family, and loved ones were below poverty, in great danger, hungry, and in need of a better life, wouldn't you "jump a fence" too?? It is called human survival. Corporate America and consumers want and need the undocumented here, because they would also be complaining if they were paying more in restaurants, grocery stores, baby sitting, house cleaning, landscaping, washing their cars, etc. I do not have any problem with the true hard working people who come from ALL countries for simply a better life. It is just a fact, that people will strive for a better life no matter what. I know it is a very complex problem.
