I was wondering if a person could sponsor themselves a student visa.?

I was thinking of sponsoring myself a student visa so could i sponsor myself or does it need to be someone else to sponsor the student visa i have a J1 visa and i am already in the states.

Talk to your advisor at the school you plan to enroll. Studying in the USA is very expensive, if you have a lot, lot of money you can make it.

I talked to my school advisor and she told me that I could have not one but many sponsors. I had 3 sponsors including myself. I had to show my bank statements as well as the bank statements of my other 2 sponsors, one of which did not live and work in the USA.

I got my F-1 status while being in the States. Make sure to talk to your advisor and have a big bank account.
