Why cant you believe there are 35,000 green card troops in the service in military?
Answer:
Blame yr president. He's the one sending troops to get killed.
The green card means they're doing it the right way. We look at the illegals with disdain. Get it right.
Where may we find this information at ?
Only the illegals... if they do it the right way nobody cares. What I care about is someone not paying into the system getting so much of my and my family's money out of it.
I do not know the exact numbers but I know that there are visa holders and green card holders enlisted in the military, my friend is a Marine Recruiter and he just enlisted a guy who was here on a green card I believe. I was not aware that there were so many of them but I was aware that it was happening.
The military confirms that the green card is legit of course and then all the normal rules apply, I think it is a great way to prove they are serious about citizenship and we should stand behind them for doing so.
Because you have to be a full citizen in order to enlist.
I believe it, and I (as a former Marine) applaud them. However, they are doing this for themselves. That does not give their illegal family members (who are responsible individuals accountable for their own individual actions) a free pass from following the law of the land.
Also, just FYI.
\Ir*rep`re*hen"si*ble\, a. [L. irreprehensibilis: cf. F. irr['e]pr['e]hensible. See Reprehensible.] Not reprehensible; blameless; innocent.
My advice to you, is to avoid big words if you don't know the def.
Who said I couldn't believe it?
And do you know that you used the word irreprehensible in the complete opposite connotation than what you meant? I like how I'm not the only one who noticed that.

I agree. Check your words before you use them.
Once again.link please.
I served with many. every one I knew was working hard and wanted to become a US citizen... every one worked hard to learn English... every one worked hard to become"American"... not one wanted to forget their heritage... all were proud of their heritage... but all wanted to become American...They were willing to make the changes necessary... the illegal immigrants are the problem...they do not want to make the changes. they demand we change for them.... I have no problem with those who come to "work the fields". I have worked alongside many of them as well... when the harvest is over they go home. the current illegal "immigrants"(criminals) are a cancer invading this country... and like a cancer they must be eliminated by any means before it is too late... or death follows... good by U.S.A.
What does this have to do with the millions of illegal immigrants that do nothing but drain government funding and break our laws? Are you asking us to excuse them because of immigrants in the military? Do you think these green card soldiers are fighting for these swine to do what they're doing? NO. I know they're there. It's common knowledge that they are there. Our military has done this for years and years. I appreciate that they are going a legal route for citizenship credit. I appreciate their respect for this country and I appreciate them.
"While non-citizens may enlist, they will find their job choices extremely limited. DOD policy prohibits granting security clearances to non-U.S. Citizens. Therefore, non-Citizens. who enlist in the United States military will be limited to those jobs which do not require a security clearance."
"In order to join the U.S. Military, one must legally immigrate first, and then apply to join the military, once they are living in the U.S. "
"The visa and/or "greencard" must have sufficient time remaining on it (expiration date) to be valid during the entire term on enlistment. While non-citizens may enlist in the U.S. Military, they are not allowed to reenlist (stay in beyond their first term of service), unless they first become U.S. "
"The United States Military cannot and will not assist in the immigration process."
So...You would suppose,if they've got
a "green card",they're here LEGALLY!
I was a military recruiter. I recruited several people with "green cards". Guess what?? I recruited not a single illegal alien. Want to know why?? Because they are not qualified to enlist in the military.
No one is looking at legal citizens and legal immigrants with disdain and hostility.
Illegal aliens are a different matter. Your argument has NOTHING to do with illegal aliens.
I don't believe it because Bush signed executive order to let in 50,000 troops.
And yes the jury is still out on this 'experiment'. The heart of the issue is are they fighting for us or training against us. What we are trying to figure out is should it be fair they are eligible to apply for citizenship after one day of active service and see how that goes (and how far).
