Illegal immigration, is it my fault?

I just wanted to know if you think I should be deported from this country if I was illegal. But I was brought my parents at a young age. Should I be deported even though I'm about to start medical school? (In reality, I'm going to get legalized soon, 2 months)

Answer:
You don't sound like somebody going to med school...
I dont believe that someone who was going to medical school would ask that question.
Sorry but Yes
I just can't believe that an illegal alien is allowed in college, much less med school.
no, its not really fair
Obviously not, if you are going to be legal soon. Congrats on that, by the way! Anyway, we need more good Doctors! Good luck with medical school.
I know it's not your fault that you are illegal; however, it isn't our fault either. Are you already in the process of becoming an American citizen? Or are you thinking about applying in 2 months?
I understood from your previous question that you are here legally. That your mother initiated the paperwork long ago.
Make up your mind.
If you are here legally, then good luck.
If you are here illegally, then you merit deportation and not any further bounty from our education system.
No, you shouldn't. But since you're about to start medical school means that you are 18 or older. So you can decide on weather to become an American They won't kick you out, so go to the website of homeland security and check for immigration services, or call your local immigration office...Good luck
If the shoe were on the other foot and your tax dollars paid predominantly for my stay, would you want me out?
nop
I support you and anyone here illegally that wants to stay and be productive in society I LOVE YOU MAN
I think you posted almost the same thing twice today and I still say yes.
Yes.
Here lies the problem? Are you legitimate or full of it? A Med student would never start a sentence with the word "But".

Sound like your parents were illegal originally or supposedly.
You make it right then no complaints here. If you squander and burden a systems resources you disgrace my friends that have gone through a vigorous 5 year process to become citizens here in the USA legally. Asian, Russian, African, and yes even Mexican!
Come what may.I truly wishes u well.
Your family broke into this country illegally. If I break into your home, then go to medical school, can I go ahead and keep living in your home?
Where does the line bending end? There is a law, it was broken. Do rapists who start medical school get to stay out of prison?
It is not your fault. Your parents brought you for goodness sake. It is not like you came over just to freeload off us tax payers
If you are here illegally you should be deported. Have a nice day.
You already bragged you were illegal at least once today so which is it and should we believe you either way?
No, it's not your fault. You were a child at the time.

You have obviously assimilated to the culture and learned to speak and write English. I am sure there are many who would complain that you got a "free ride" by "leeching off of the public education system", but regardless of the circumstances, the outcome was positive, and you were never at fault.

Should your parents be deported? I don't know. That's not for me to decide. Many would say that they broke the law by bringing you here. Technically, they did. For me, though, the whole immigration issue is far too complex and controversial for me to really take a stand either way.

On the one hand, they came here illegally and used public services, probably without paying taxes. On the other hand, they were probably only doing what was best for their family and to provide a better life for you. It would be weak of me to tell you that what they did was okay. However, it would be heartless of me to say that you should all be arrested and shipped back to your homeland -- especially when you could potentially contribute a great deal to our country through your medical training (I'm assuming you are currently living in the U.S.?).

I believe that there need to be better avenues of legal immigration for those who wish to become U.S. citizens. At the same time, I also believe that U.S. border security must be tightened and background checks of legal immigrants be more extensive in order to protect America from any would-be terrorists. I also think that the U.S. government needs to have more talks with the Mexican government (regarding the rampant illegal immigration rates from that nation) in order to determine why so many Mexican citizens wish to leave their home. Perhaps if the economy and quality of life in Mexico were somehow improved, there wouldn't be such a strong need for Mexican citizens to flee to the U.S.

I'm not assuming that your family came from Mexico, of course, though it is statistically likely. Regardless of your native homeland, I am glad that you are pursuing the processes necessary for legalization, and I hope you continue to learn and contribute to society as a whole. If possible, I also think your parents should consider going through the legalization process should they continue to remain here. For their own good. That way, when somebody looks at your family and tells you to "go back to your country", you can all proudly declare that you already ARE in your own country.
First of all, I don't believe you at all. But let's say for the sake of argument that you're truthful:

It depends on what country you're from. In reality you should be deported immediately. However, if you are from Mexico, and I was ICE, I would single you out for deportation only after you completed your residency. Why? Your people need your skills after you graduate more than we do in the US. The more people you can help in Mexico, the less likely these unwanted underclass will suck up our largesse. So ultimately, you make immense contributions to both societies.

After you served your people for 5 to 10 years, I would then make every effort to assist you in obtaining your H1-B visa.
Seems you an your family are here illegally with no respect for our laws, waited for years to try to get your papers in order.
Then with the failure of the amnesty bill .Sorry you had the time to comply.
Gee, there sure seem to be a lot of illegal aliens starting medical school. Who coincidentally opened their accounts on the same day. Emmcord, is that you again??

How many Id's do you have? You've already asked this question under several. You need to get your story straight, you can't seem to remember what you wrote under the previous name.
To answer your question.yes.
If you are illegal then yes, you must go. If you are old enough to go to medical school, then you have reached a legal age of majority and you are old enough to do the right thing and turn yourself in.

Do you need a phone number? Directions?
I think you should be deported right now for living here illegally all those years.

A Milwaukee Police Officer was recently imprisoned and soon to be deported for lieing on his job application that he was a legal alien.

You sir... broke the law. Continue to break the law and even though you are trying to become legal, trying doing it from were you should be not were you are now.

Medical schools in other countries are easy to get into. You shouldn't have any problem.
