Anyway, Canada gives lots of free stuff to bums (like free healthcare), so if immigrants are bums, then they'll probably prefer Canada. But hard working people prefer America, where there are more opportunities. Lots of Canadians move to America.

To the other guy ..that says Canada depends on the USA because we have a poor economy and we don't have a military .
First of all our dollar is about 5 cents less than their dollar ...does he know how far behind the AMerican dollar is to many European Countries including the UK.Canada does have our own military !! We are a peaceful nation ...but if you want to see who we would depend on ...we are part of the common wealth .we have other countries especially the uk with its strong military weapons to back as up.Though that would not occur because our stand is on peace not aggression an sticking our nose in everywhere and tagging ourselves God to rule and control others
