Tyler- Police say a woman who was arrested just last month for driving drunk and hitting a young boy has caused another accident. Melinda Jackson was arrested Friday morning for causing a three car crash on East front street in Tyler. Police say she was under the influence at the time of the crash and was in possession of crack cocaine. Jackson was charged with a D-W-I and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
In June she was arrested for drunk driving drunk after police say she hit 15-year Jesus Cardenas. Cardenas was doing landscaping work on a Tyler street when he was hit. The 15 year was paralyzed in the accident. After the accident, Jackson paid a 500 dollar bond and was out of jail about 4 and half hours later. She was arrested the night before that accident for public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.

There are 1.5 million US citizens that drive drunk every year. Actually the number is higher but this is the number that are arrested. It seems that this woman got off scott free and she seriously injured someone, she posted a 500 dollar bond and was out in hours after she nearly killed a person for her wreckless behavior and that in and of itself is outrageous. I think drunk driving should be treated as attempted murder each and every time, because if you get behind the wheel and drive your intent is to cause harm.
I don't think anyone would say illegals are the only ones who drive drunk,they just seem to be the majority of the offenders.

But we don't need other countries' criminals on top of our own.
Unfortunately American drunk drivers are citizens, there is no avoiding them doing what they do outside of jail time, illegal aliens never should have been here in the first place!..are you starting to understand now...or should I translate it in another language ?

The difference is that when an American gets a DWI, they get punished. They go to jail, they might even stay there a long time if they kill someone. An illegal, especially a Mexican illegal is usually different. They can "choose" to leave and effectively avoid a jail sentence, only to come back across the border again and again.
Also, to drive, you should have insurance. Do illegals have car insurance? No, why would they? They are just going to flee the site of the car accident, anyway, because of their immigration status. So, any LEGAL immigrant that obeys the law, or any US citizen has to pay for insurance to cover themselves against uninsured motorists. Yet another way we have to pay because illegals don't.
I personally think we should treat all illegal aliens as a terrorist threat. We have no real background on them, they came here against the law...how do we know what they are doing here? If they register, and PROVE they are law abiding people, we consider (it's up to OUR consideration, not yours...since it is OUR country, not yours.) allowing them into the USA. Innocence until proof of guilt is in the US Constitution, and is for AMERICAN citizens. This should not apply to illegals.
You can find only ONE American doing this out of the thousands that can be attributed to illegal aliens driving while intoxicated and killing? Wow, that is a lot.
You do know there is a such thing as a blue moon...anything is possible, but the facts stand that it is the majority of vehicular homicides where there is alcohol involved are attributed to intoxicated illegal aliens.

Actually, on a serious note, Americans dirtbags break all the same laws illegals do except for the one of coming here.
Our complaint is that if they were not here, they couldn't be hurting our citizens and our police could concentrate on catching our own homegrown scumbags.
Grow up and face reality, all the arguments in the world will not replace the fact that even a misdemeanor is a crime.
Our justice system is full of people guilty of committing misdemeanors in order to improve their families life. Quit defending illegals, they are criminals by the very act of coming here.
