France or Canada? Which is better?
Answer:
Well, you're a UK citizen, so you always have the right to live, work, own property, and retire anywhere in the EU countries for an unlimited time. Choosing Canada gives you more experience, plus you can talk to people in your native language.
Canada...
I would definately say France. They are the most environmentally friendly country on the planet, and full time workers get something like between 5-8 weeks of vacation, and the average work week is 35 hrs. Sounds like a deal to me.
i just live in the uk
France is kinda dirty. I used to go there all the time because my mother is from France. In addition, it is full with North Africans: Algerians, Morrocans, Tunesians, Arabs--you name it, they are there. If I had to chose I would go to Canada. Canada has an excellent health care system, pays well for jobs, and it looks a little European.
Canada without a doubt. if you like a little French culture you can visit Quebec... but still be English.
stay in the uk its better then both by far
Though I'm an American, I'd go with Canada over France,
as far as the UK, not enough data to decide.
I've never been to either but I hear Canada is nice.
Don't know why you want to leave the UK but if you do leave I think Canada , more closely resembles your form of government , but maybe that's what you want to leave , I wouldn't pick France for any number of reasons , Muslim influx anad many other peoples from various countries , also I think it's socialist in it's government. I much prefer America , even with all it's faults.
Canada, The people are friendlier.
Canadians speak English or most do, they actually seem to like us as a country and the French eat frogs and snails. The only problem the french in Canada LOL
Canada they are very independent
Canada. It has fewer French people in it.
(sorry, I couldnt resist.) :-)
There is no good reason for living in Canada, unless you like fishing.
France has character its not a character I like but some do. Calais is of course still English.
Yorkshire is the best country to live in especially in the north. The best people, best water, best beer, best fish and chips, and you are everybodys love.
Canada - more English speakers than French LOL
france includes lovely emviroment but for a modern life canada is better than uk
Canada, for me, - EVERY TIME!
The people of France HATE the English! Mind you, - for MY part, anyway, - the feeling is MUTUAL!
Id say Canada because it is a beautiful country and you can enjoy life there as much as you can in the UK.
Canada's better because of its people.
Depends what you want out of life. But there is a compromise if you are thinking of emigrating and this is not just a question out of curiosity. Why not go to Montreal, French speaking Canada? Best of both worlds I would have thought.
I'm a Canadian so I might be a tad biased. However, knowing France fairly well, and travelled and worked much of Canada, it's a very difficult question to answer. I've met many individual French people whom I liked. I can't say the same for French-Canadians. I'm a prairie person so on the basis of the physical geography of the country, I'd have to go for Canada.
Candians are the best possible people on this planet. You wont find the thuggish and boorish booze culture that has engulfed UK. Open spaces, friendlier people but cold cold winters.
Been to both countries, and in all honesty they offer a far far better life than in the UK.
Canada...... north America ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ll
