Are you a republican who is getting frustrated by our party?
Answer:
I'm with you on this. I have been a registered Republican for many years but intend to register as an Independent if this travesty of a bill is passed. Bush has sold his soul and is in the process of selling this country down the drain. We'd be better off if he was still drinking/drugging!
no I'm a democrat laughing at the republicans
That was your first mistake, being a republican
Yes I am! I have to contend with both Kyl and McCain in my area. I think they went bipartisan on us and lied the whole time. Disappointing to no end. I have gone Independent.
United States of Fatso is right also.
No, I'm an individual that's frustrated by both parties. Special interest groups are like the Union. A bunch of thugs that know how to manipulate people into doing things for them; including extortion..
I have to agree, as a former Republican. But here's the thing: It doesn't matter which political party you belong to. This is going to happen, I believe, because we American taxpaying citizens are not going to be allowed to stand in the way of this bill.
Consider: There is the EU, there is Russia, there is China. In 50 years, I believe there will be the NAU -- North American Union. NAFTA; CAFTA, porous borders with Mexico and flagrant violations of federal laws and national security (since the 1986 "immigration reform" bill).
We are going to be pushed into the NAU (and so will Canada), whether we like it or not.
I am a registered Republican.but I vote who I feel is the lesser of two evils when voting. I don't agree with alot of things Bush does..but I also know it is not just him either. It is also the congress and senates.
Yes, I'm livid about this amnesty bill. It's not a Republican thing across the board though, so I doubt we'll lose membership.
But I think this is all more of a 'frustrated western world citizen" thing. I do -not- know why our leaders in the western countries have put us at such risk with immigration, legal or illegal. It's the most dangerous issue facing any western country right now.
::::Below: I heard that in 1987.
I am we are out of step with the American people. For the first time in my life I'm thinking about voting for a Democrat. Amnesty is coming no matter who wins. Both parties want it they just have different views on how it should be carried out.
We have +1000000 illegals in this country. If handled right it would improve national security. A one time amnesty would create a national registry. Any one not registering should be considered an enemy of the state. Any one hiring should be charged wit giving aid and comfort to the enemy. At the same time and with the same importance secure our borders. If Mexicans can enter this country what is to keep Islamic radicals from falling in with them. Maybe even being for a time a mirgrant worker.
I'm disgusted with most of the Republican party. Most of them have not stuck to the conservative base. The majority of them are just like the liberals. They are only out for self gain. Ask yourself this: How many republicans along with liberals, have been defending our borders, language, and culture?
Republicans Leaders have really missed an opportunity.I used to be a Repub., but since the majority have made it a point to ostracize the Hispanic community, then they will no longer be getting votes from me.Many are closet racists who just want a certain America, not a diverse one. Hispanics are natural Republicans! They support family, are anti abortion, and are deeply religious people.Yet the Republican party, instead of including these people, they have rejected them due to this issue. What a shame and what a missed opportunity!
Because you think they're too far to the right, or not far enough to the right.
I have always been a Independent because I have always seemed to disagree and agree on issues presented by both Republicans and Democrats. Here lately I can see why you have been questioning it. I think I will stay labeled as Independent. I think there are many Republicans who now feel the same way as you now after all that has been going on.
You are correct on Bush having no concern for anyone's opinion regardless of who they are.
I resigned from the republican party when they decided to run Bush the first time. 1 look at his record of failures was enough to convince me that the Party was heading in the wrong direction and would take the Country the same way. His announcement about the "Axis of Evil" right after he took over confirmed those observations, and subsequent history has shown him to be an utter and complete failure as predicted.
Today I vote for the person and not the party, and am happily unaffiliated with any political party.
It doesn't matter if we are Republican or Democrat. There are
political members of an organization who are all in unity on
a major goal. And that is to head our country into a more
subserviant state, and where all countries will be under the
thumb of one world government. Bush has brought alot of us
to new awareness in his trying to push thru an amnesty bill.
And he's relentless in achieving this. Once we're more over-
run with illegals, and there is fighting in the streets over the
initial 'take over'. Pandemonium will reign, the militia will be
called in to restore order, the Pres. will put our Constitutional
rights on hold and the door will be open to being dictated to
by those who hold political office from the President on down.
This is how it's being made known to me. I read a statement
from a contributor that mentioned that if illegals want to vote
in the polls, it's now a fact, that the people can't ask you if you
are a citizen, before allowing you to vote. So anyone can vote
if they want to. That would include anyone of terrorist ideals,
whos' vote might be advantageous in some way. I've seen
night vision photos of terrorists who have already crossed
over our open border. And these were taken by border
watchers. I've read that the border control officers were told
not to stop anyone. And these unknown invaders had long
handled arms when they were sneaking over at night. They
weren't even hiding the fact that they were carrying arms.
If there were any shoot outs, our media is censored to prevent
alot of the real news from getting out. That is why there is a
law being written now, that will wipe out the open radio talk
shows where we can still learn news that our government
doesn't want us to hear. They want us to be dumb and become even dumber to take whatever they have to dish out.
For those who never turned in their guns and rifles, hold onto
them for your own protection. And that's all I can say on the
subject.
I'm frustrated at all of them!
i feel the same way. I have written both bush and the republican party that i am through with this party and their views in the illegal issue. I will throw all my support to a third party. This might hurt in the short term, but hopefully they will get the message and stay conservative like the majority of their party is!!
Yep. I'm still registered Republican because you have to be in California to vote in the primaries. But I consider myself independent. It is globalism vs. populism and this bill is only part of it.
