What is alien registration number?

We are filing G-325A form and its asking for A number, im a naturalized US citizen, do i have a A number? Do i need to fill it up?

Answer:
It is the number designated on a green card for each individual legal resident. It usually starts with an A.
You no longer need an alien registeration number. That number is for US perm. residents and it's the green card number that starts with the letter A followed by 9 digits. If you are a US citizen, write "N/A" on that item that is asking for alien registration number.
Yes, you have an A number. It is the registration number you were given when you first came to the US as an immigrant. It should be noted on all of your official correspondence from the INS/DHS, and also would have been on your Green Card before you naturalized. Include the A number in the G-325A.
