"If you don't want to give amnesty to the illegals already here how are you going to deport over 12 million people?"

A favorite straw man tactic of pro-amnesty supporters is to raise the specter of having to deport over 12 million illegals if they are not given amnesty. As shown in this local TV station report from Georgia however, forced deportation directed by a vast state bureaucracy is not necessary to turn the tide of illegal immigration.

Shift the cost/benefit ratio and illegal immigrants are perfectly capable of deciding by themselves the best course of action.

The average illegal immigrant in the US got here with far less means than those they now possess to return. If enough states adopt anti-illegal immigration laws similar to those now in place in Georgia, many illegals can be expected to simply leave the US the same way they got in — on their own.

Note: Of course states that don't follow Georgia's lead, like North Carolina mentioned in the video, will see an increase in their population of illegal immigrants.

Answer:
1. Have states enact laws similar to Arizona's employer sanctions laws.

2. Petition local and state courts for Writs of Mandamus to mandate that those governments put an end to their harboring policies and turn in illegal ALIENS to ICE for deportation every time.

3. Deport! Deport! Deport! - Have ICE step up it's deportations exponentially as to dwarf their prior token efforts in meat packing and pallet companies.
One at a time, and just keep working at it.

What's your question??
Why ask the question just to answer it yourself?
That's not clarification.

IMHO, the way would be through internal enforcement directed at employers. Businesspeople are cautious sorts, and, when they see a law is being enforced, and that breaking it has severe consequences, they start following it, en masse.

Without the magnet of illicit employment, many illegal aliens will, indeed 'self deport.' Some, however, have been here so long that they likely have 'support structures' - friends and family - among the citizen and legal resident population, and they may ultimately have to be either deported or accomdated in some way.
I agree, if you give them long prison terms or impose fines equal to 2 years wages on them they just might leave on their own, Just because people "think" it's not possible to deport 12 million Illegals doesn't mean we can't try!

Time in prison, while doing Those "jobs american's won't do" to earn their trip back to what ever country they left.
Give them no reason to be here and they will deport themselves.
One by one.
The citizens of the USA have spoken Thank you Georgia I hope Florida is next. The can run but they can't hide, Enforcement of our laws, close the borders, build the fence.Keep calling your Sen== it's working
Mass deportation. I'll volunteer to help.

I say we take big busses, drive around in the morning where these illegal’s congregate, load them in the buses and bring them back to the boarders and watch them walk back to their country!
Good news.

Now we need to enforce the laws in every state and county in America. California, New York, and Maryland won’t do that, so let them deal with the “undocumented and illiterate domestic migrants”.

Prince William County in Northern VA just passed a law requiring proof of residency for housing rental and county services. Let’s see if they “migrate” to Loudon and Faquier counties (Fairfax is too expensive).

For those not from this area, part of this new law is a response to all previous attempts in (for example) Manassas to enforce zoning laws regarding 10 to 15 unrelated people in a single family home or even a townhouse. Also, last year Herndon (is that in PWC?) booted 3/4 of it’s reckless town council, which disbursed funds to build a “day laborers center” widely hated by the town residents.

And I just heard yesterday that a county in Texas has virtually shut down the border crossings by a “zero tolerance” policy of arresting 100 percent of illegal entrants, giving them the maximum sentence of 6 months in jail, and then turning them over to ICE for deportation. If they come back and are caught again it’s a felony.
Take away what they come here for and they will go else where
Only the Federal government can make and enforce immigration law.

Stay tuned for the 47 similar cases are making their way to the Supreme Court. Several have already been overturned.
Take away their food stamps, free medical coverage, free housing and every other free service they are getting and they will leave on their own!!!!!!!!!...
If there is a will, there is a way.
