Nothing. No matter what their skin color, if someone enters our country - or any country, for that matter - without following the required legal steps, they are an illegal immigrant. Period.
Race has nothing to do with it, and anyone who thinks otherwise is "misinformed."

It is not racist to be anti illegal immigration. Racism comes into play when people begin to denigrate people from other countries under the guise of being anti illegal immigration.
YOU are the one that mentioned the color brown, not the person that asked the question. An illegal alien is NOT a color or a race. Legal American citizens of ALL races are against illegal aliens from ALL races. This is not a racial issue. Most legal Hispanics in this country are opposed to illegal immigration, I guess we're racist too??

It's because these rules only apply to whites.... of course, that's my sarcasm speaking. However, it is not racist to be anti-illegal immigration. I think the illegal aliens should follow the rules to get in this country too. However, it's hard not to sympathize with these poor Mexicans with no other place to go.
I agree, there are channels to enter countries legally and become citizen's of that country. Illegals are criminals and should treated as such. No matter race, creed colour, religion etc. they should be sent back immediately (none of this court crap) with a term to apply properly such as 5 years and try properly.
I don't think being against illegal immigration in racist in the least. We have ways for people to be legal immigrants. And it doesn't discriminate against race. If someone comes into this country illegally, no matter what the race, it is illegal. And they should NOT recieve benefits. OF ANY KIND.

You wouldn't know if Euros or Africans are here illegally. Therefore, the only people you can look at as being here illegally are brown, including asians. When non-brown people see brown people, and a lot of them, they start thinking, they must be here illegally. It's human nature.
Well in my opinion its comments like this that lead to rascism. Some people here and in other places don't just say they did something illegally. They go as far as insulting. I think though that all those people need to go back to their united states class and learned about the fact that many illegals immigrated here even though the term wasn't used back then. Only true americans are the native american s that had est. here. Mexican sin particular were taken out of the land here which they owned because of the war. If we learned more about history and learned acceptance then this country and the world would be much better.
I don't think it is a racist question. I believe that immigrants should come into this country legally also. Many illegal immigrants are just wanting a better life for their families and they think once they get here it will be a promised land. When they get here they find out what a struggle it is. But because they all are here illegally they pull from our already strained resources, school system, welfare, free health care, babies are born here, they have auto accidents and have no insurance, they cause rent to rise to unbelievable rates because landlords will rent a 1 bed room apt to 4 families for a ridiculous amount of money thus raising the bar for 1 bedrooms so that a person can't afford to live in his own country. Insurance on health is outrageous.But they are humans and I feel for them just want them to stay home.
I'm sure if you looked up the history of where your Parents Parents were from, you really wouldn't be saying that. I am sure that along the line your Great Grandparents were not born in America. So please think before you speak. The fact that you were born in America, does not mean that your entire Family are blood Americans as well. If you search your ''roots'', you'll find that at least one of your Family member came to America as an Immigrant.
Being agains immigration could be considered racist, but being against illegat immigration isn't. As much as bleeding hearts would love to allow everyone who wants into this country in, we can't do that. If you are illegal, you don't deserve to be here.

What makes you think someone is going to look at a brown person, or Asian, or black, or white and automatically think "that person is here illegally"? Illegal is illegal. Racism is an independant factor. Some antis may be racist, but most are not.
I am not sure how much of the 'racist' name calling by pro's is bad vocabulary skills and how much is an attempt to make the position opposing mass illegal immigration unpopular. In the first place white Americans do not discriminate against white Americans.White Americans biggest complain is illegal Mexicans.A huge majority of these Mexicans are brown . The Mexican Indians are hated in Mexico by white Mexicans. When they come to the USA the hate continues from white Americans. The legal Mexicans who are here also hate them. That indicates to me their hate started In Mexico.As far as I am concerned these legal Mexicans are wannabe white Americans.
The difference in the legals and tthe illegals is education and money. The legals cry if I can become legal, they can do it also. The legals refuse to point out the difference such as education and money to get here legally.

I worked in the Dallas area where the main reason people were stopped on traffic was for racial profiling. There is NOTHING racist about it. Those who want to claim it is a racist thing are those who want to support ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION but cannot find a legitimate way to do so. These are the same individuals who want to claim that the Border Patrol Agents are racist, when 90% of them are Hispanic. Last year more than 140 different nationalities where apprehended and deported by the U.S. Border Patrol.

I don't think there's nothing racist if you are in fact concerned about illegal inmigration only and not because you are not open to expose yourself to all the great and diverse cultures. I myself can say am concerned about the fact that a quarter of my country's populations are people from another country, not all countries just one, and most of them live here illegally, that comes with a price, countries should not close their borders to keep foreigners from entering, but there should also be options for people to fulfill their dreams where ever they thing they are gonna be able to do so. I think we should all embrace diversity but have things planned and a way to do that is avoiding illegal inmigrations in a way that you are not destroying peoples dreams, goals or mere needs.
