Will it be fair to let felons out of prison..?

some of the arguments for having illegals stay in the country is that they have children born here in the united states and it will not be fair to leave them. Can felons also make the same case that they are leaving their kids if they are put in prison and therefore they need amnesty? afterall illegals are technically felons, they broke the law.

I think that the law needs to be changed so that just because you come to this country and have a baby shouldn't automatically make that baby a citizen.

Your comparison of felons "leaving" their children is only different in that they and their children are citizens of this country and they choose their way of life and to leave their children by committing their crimes. Felons shouldn't be let out of prison, they have committed a crime and owe a debt to society that they must pay.

You are right that illegal aliens break the law by choice, and I believe they should be made to take their children with them when they are deported, citizens or not! They know when they enter this country illegally that they are taking a chance of getting caught at some point and being deported. If they are having a child as a method of staying here they are using that child, that's why they call them "anchor babies".
NO they are CITIZENS..the government makes sure to stick it to them.
felons should not be let out of jail in my opinion-i think anyone wanting to be come an American citizen should have to serve in the armed forces in some category -if not physically able they should have to perform some type of humanitarian work-we want our country back -be proud to be an American not just come here to live off the government
