Why is it OK for the U.S. to keep taking MONEY from ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS?
I HAVE FAMILY MEMBERS WHO HAVE NEVER ASKED FOR A DIME FROM WELFARE & ACTUALLY PAID FOR THERE CHILDREN'S BIRTH. MY POINT IS THEY GOT A LAWYER & OPENED A CASE TO BECOME PERMANENT RESIDENTS. THEY HAVE SPENT OVER $10,000 FOR APPEAL AFTER APPEAL & STILL GOT DENIED. NOW THESE PPL HAVE NEVER GOTTEN IN TROUBLE WITH THE LAW & ARE VERY HARD WORKING. SO WHY IS IT THAT ITS OK FOR THE COURTS TO KEEP SUCKING MONEY OUT OF THEM IF THEY KNEW THAT THEY WOULD STILL GET DENIED? IS THIS A WAY OF THEM MAKING MONEY. DENYING IMMIGRANTS & ALLOWING THEM TO APPEAL JUST TO GET MORE MONEY?
SEEMS LIKE THE U.S. IS AS CORRUPT AS MEXICO.

To Fox - they just paid over $10,000 and did all the work the govt wanted and were denied. They pay all their bills themselves and probably do not have any debt - can you say you have a perfect credit score?
I have met a lot of people over the years, all US citizens, who are living off the system, welfare, dissability, and SS# who are all under 40 yrs old! I know that they can work, but why would they when they can get their living expenses taken care of and all the money they make on the side is gravy. I have met just as many illegal immigrants who have tried to apply the right way in their own country - pay thousands to under handed officials - and still get nowhere. They sneak across here not only to work but to work for the money it takes to apply as well. Don't get me wrong - there are those that just want to work and later go home and then there are those that get caught up in the bad neighborhoods and travel the wrong path, but there are thousands of US citizens that do the same every day, trying to make a fast buck. No one makes themselves accountable for their troubles and it is easier to blame someone else, but does that mean all should be persecuted for the faults of only a few. Just because your heritage is hispanic that automatically makes you an illegal alien even though you are a 4th or even an 8th generation Hispanic naturally born citizen. Everyone needs to watch "Cheech Marin in the movie Born in East LA" and "A Day Without a Mexican" They may be slightly exaggerated but the idea is real.
The USA can take money from illegal aliens because they are here illegally. Legal immigrants paid to be here, what makes illegals so special that they don't have to pay because they allegedly work hard?
Why should they get praise for doing what most American do as a matter of course, pay for their own medical bills.
Just because your family never use the welfare system, doesn't not mean that they should be granted with or without a lawyer the right to break our laws. If they choose to pay a lawyer that is there choice, and again why should they get credit for trying to get around our immigration policy.
If what you say is true,it will be the first story i've heard where an illegal hasn't taken money from the U.S. but instead paid into it. I find it hard to believe they were turned down if they were what you claim. I think there is a discrepency or ommission somewhere that you're not telling us.
Look girl I understand how YOU feel, your case is different you are legal like me. But my concern is that illegal immigration cost lots of money. Illegal allien will break the law, wont pay taxes, and they use our resources, like in your case you might not get it. Please understand people like you and me dont get the breaks but illegal do all the time. Check the reports how much illegal immigration really cost? If you think that we should rewarding illegal aliens then you are wrong. What Americans citizens and legal immigrant like me is trying to help to put stop to this. Is just not right that illegal have more rights and help that you and me.
