Why do you think the US will not enforce the law against those who employ illegal workers?
Answer:
There's a disconnect between what the American people have wanted and what the policitical parties in the US wanted. The people want reasonably tight controls on immigration. It's not possible for a politician to be too enthusiastically open-borders and still get elected. Thus, the laws on the books reflect the will of the people. The will of the politicians, OTOH, is reflected by the refusal to enforce those laws adequately.
The reasons depend on politician. The more conservative types want to undermine employee-protection laws by bringing in cheap labor that can't complain of abuses (for fear of deportation), because doing so helps certain of thier constituents - farmers who employ 'migrant' workers being the stereotypical example. The more liberal types want open borders to swell the population with 'minorities' that historically gravitate to thier party - even if the illegals can't vote, thier children will be able to. Both types also want expanding population - the conservatives to 'grow' the economy, and the liberals to support socialist ponzi schemes like Social Security, Welfare, and Medicare.
Is this a rant or what? Take off eh.
Big buisness wants cheap labor. Big buisness funds the campaigns of politicians and thusly the government will try to benifit buisness which wants cheap unskilled labor.
Like it or not, those people keep the economy going. I'm sure you'd prefer to pay higher prices and have a stagnating economy bogged down by federal and state regulation in order to protect your 'jerbs,' but I like immigrants--legal or illegal--who work. Why don't you spend more time objecting to the immigrants who come over from Eastern Europe and go right onto SSI, welfare, food stamps, and HUD? They're all over the place in northern California. I much prefer Mexican illegal immigrants to welfare staters.
If they did so, they would be subject not only to the wrath of business donors pulling their support, but also to the irrational arguments of the pro-illegal immigration crowd. In addition, most people would be very uncomfortable with the idea of "starving" or "deporting" families of illegals as the rhetoric would speak louder than thinking that through.
Kinda sorta like NAFTA,, the get cheap labor from cheap people and get big profits,,,,,,,
If you want to figure out how the US is going about decision making, just know that under this administration whatever is logical this President is going to do the opposite. See, it's easy once you catch on...now you too can be a political analist.
I would personally never do any of those jobs.
I think the reason there isnt a crack down on those employers is because can you really fault a small business for not having the technology or the money to invest into the products or services to check if someones papers are real or fake?
political convenience our politicans wants manipulate
the power of the voters it doesn't matter
where and from who is coming from
but before get the benefit from them
they need to legalize the illegal aliens
so the amnesty is the right tool to do that
American people they just don't get it
Exactly. The amount of illegal immigrants we have today didn;t come over night. Many have been here for years and years.Doing dirty jobs for no pay or benefits. If the bill passes companies will HAVE to raise their wages. The fines imposed for hiring illegals goes from $3,000.00 now to $75,000.00 after the bill passes.Quite a jump huh?Now that is a fine that will hurt. That is PER EACH ILLEGAL.Even a large company wouldn't like that kind of fine.So if you don't support the bill you in essense support slave labor. And illegal immigration because the way things stand no one loses by giving jobs.
cheap labor
Mexican "illegals" pay no taxes [EXCEPT RETAIL], contribute nothing to our society or our economy, then use our social services systems for free, unearned benefits.
We should ENFORCE the laws on the books currently and NOT pass the current AMNESTY bill.

The lawmakers wouldn't have anybody to go to dinner with, to get their kickbacks. It's all about money to them. I can take you to a hundred job sites in Florida that hire illegals, but nothing is done about it. It's not because Americans don't want to do the jobs, it's because the employers don't want to pay a American wage. Most employers will choose cheap labor, so that they can show up at the job with $60,000 brand new trunk.
The government and many americans don't have the balls to do something about the immigration issue. They expect to deport all the illegals and think that the US economy would not be hurt one bit--- Not to mention how badly most of the illegal immigrants are treated at their jobs, saying it from witnessing these sort of things many times.
I wouldn't do those jobs. $8 an hour...at 40 hrs a week.. that's about $1,250 a month w/o tax deductions...$1,087.50 after deductions..that would mean my husband and I would both have to work 2 jobs in order to make a decent living. The rent for the apartments where I live cost like $1,300 a month--not including bills!
Would Americans preffer to pay $10 for a Califonia grown box of strawberries? or would they rather pay $3 for a box of the same strawberries BUT which were gown in...Guatemala?
Obviously no one wants to pay higher prices for products you can get cheaper somewhere else.
if a business pays lower salary, the business gets more profit, if thebussines gets more profit, pays more taxes.
so...
if a bussines hires illegal labor force makes more money for thebussines and for the government.
According to this, it is sooooooo stupid to say that illegal workers affect the tax system and they dont pay taxes, but just for the fact that their bosses pay less, they contribue with taxes... indeirectly but they do.
They want the illegals here. The people in charge think that once the illegals turn "legal" they will somehow thank the people in charge by voting for them in up coming elections.
zvisa=votes
Because they want to keep a permanent slave class and make higher profits. In case you hadn't noticed, we still have slavery in this country, although we don't call it that...Think about it, these workers come here, work in deplorable conditions, are exploited, no benefits, many pay taxes, many live 20 to a household, can't get proper medical treatment, make very little pay and live in constant fear of being caught. They don't have the rights of a citizen, because they have entered the country illegally, so they do get exploited...In fact it is so bad, that many are abused and never even get paid. They don't report this to the officials for fear of being deported...Now whats so different between that and the slavery of the past?
some jobs i wood not do but there is a Lot wood do like labor on a construction job it pays very well hard but good pay of other jobs as well but the illegals come in an cut the pay down because they are illegal an big money want to keep big money
There are simply not enough workers in the US to fill all the jobs required for a booming economy. That's it.
