You are correct, and that is why we have to keep applying the pressure and let them know we want a secure border. They can't ignore us forever.
He should also stop meddling in other countries affairs, that would be a much cheaper, more efficient way of stopping illegal immigration.

you are right. so many American businesses depend on the workers, and people buy the products from those businesses. obviously Americans want the illegal workers, and obviously the government will do nothing then. if American people boycotted business that used the workers, well then maybe something would get done. But American voter is way to docile and too concerned with mass consumption, and pop culture to actually get up and make changes, that type of conditioning took years. It would take several generations to undo the damage of that conditioning.

After this huge debate on the bill is settled, they should at least heavily guard it and be allowed to shoot to kill for anyone who tries illegally to cross it. Those words might sound harsh, and I don't like saying them, but that might be the only way to let people know we mean business.
