Why many stubborn people refuse to Reform our obsolete, odd and old Immigration laws?

because they never had to go through that process , therefor they really do not understand how hard really is and how little chance of success those which do it the right way have . the system is an incredible mess and yes it needs to be reformed and just as we should think in what is that that its causing it to be a mess in my opinion we all should try to be open minded and to try to understand every possibility and the idea that it may be US who is causing people from other countries to immigrate to the USA . YES it could be us and sadly i believe that it is us and not them . we in the USA live saying why don't they fix this or that but never stop to think for a second that it is us which have caused so many of the problems which the poor from other countries have to live every day and night and that more than sick from us is annoying . we need a reform and that its exactly what its suppose to happen and will happen .

Because they believe that we should enforce them. The laws could be effictively enforced if we first secured the Border. If the Laws were enforced many illegal aliens would return to their native country or some other country and leave the United States.
If they wanted to re-enter the US they would be forced to do it the Legal Way, the way MOST aliens do it.
Because we would really like to be able to have decent, law abiding citizens not a bunch of ignorant peasants that think child bearing is an olympic sport.

Who says that they are obsolete, odd and old? I think the laws are just fine, the immigrants that come into this country just need to abide by them.
you see the american people have been stripped of their freedoms based on the idea that terrorists are trying to hurt us - now how does that mesh with an open border - think.
and the american people have been outsourced - broken down and are carrying a large burden of taxes to pay for all these defense contractors.
add to that open borders and workers willing to work in unsafe under paid positions and that effectively destroys the working class and endangers workers and quality of goods.

some people may be willing to step on the backs of others - but some people are pretty fed up and expect a certain level of quality in the work place and job security.
perhaps we need to invade mexico and in stall a democracy there instead of iraq.
or better yet maybe the illegal aliens can do what we americans did - and that is fight for what we have or had.
I always find it odd when people say reform isnt needed when major corporations like Microsoft are outsourcing the jobs to Canada, UK, India, and China. How long is it going to take that all our food supply is going to come from China?
They make up all these crazy and stupid ideas how to stop illegal immigration, some of them actually resemble what the Nazis did to the Jews, depriving them of human rights and they were made to believe that they were less then human...kind of resembles some posts on here. They just simply cannot weigh the options...they have their own agendas based on personal prejudices and cant accept a compromise.
These people dont live in the now and the reality...they live in a theoretical place where they think every law is enforceable and are ultimately are afraid of change because they cant think 2 steps ahead...they are stuck in the now and dragging us ALL with them.

By "our immigration laws" do you mean those of your country, or of ours? Because you aren't American by the phrasing of your question. Our laws just need to be enforced to get and keep the illegals out. Unless you think we should just shoot them on sight?
What you do with the laws of the country in which you are a citizen is of no concern of mine.
We do not need illegal aliens. There is not a single illegal alien in this country that we "need"...
If we honestly "NEED" more workers.we literally have an inexhaustible pool of legal immigrants, definitely more than our country could handle. There are hundreds of millions if not billions of people around the world...not only countries south of our border that would come to this country in a heartbeat.
We could double, triple, or quadruple our immigration quota and have all the legal immigrants we could handle.
Why do people try to insist we need illegal aliens??
Why do we need people that broke our laws to come here...proving the minute they became illegal that they will not respect our laws...and insist they will NOT leave...they are "here to stay"...?
