Do you really think the government wants the 12 million people who work in this country illegally to leave?
I would like to know why the worry over Social Security running out of funds with all these people paying into it every payday but never being able to claim it.

I have to agree with many of the comments on here. I have known illegals who were working through a temp service, so they had a "regular" paycheck. But, at even $6.00 an hour, if they were lucky and got a raise, they were making gross only $240 a week. Now, if you claim a couple of kids, and yourself and spouse, they aren't going to hold out ANY federal taxes. They will take out a tiny amount of social security. I live in a state with no state tax, so that is out right there. They might pay in a small amount of social security, but we have more and more legal Americans living longer and longer, using more and more of the Social Security we have "in the bank". With modern medicine making huge strides, we will have an even longer life expectancy. As more and more people start on SS, we will have greater needs. And anchor babies will be citizens, and therefore they will qualify for SS as well. With 20 million illegals here, if each of them have 2 kids ( I see a HUGE percentage with 3 or 4 each), that is a lot of children who will be taking from SS. The number 12 million is a bit low, see the counters here

You need to check out the social services money that goes to help support those same people while you are at that site.
But the rewards for them staying seem to outweight the negatives for our politicians.
As for where the money that goes to our government goes, only they know for sure.

You don't understand how taxes work. The less money you earn per year, the less tax you pay per year. Illegal aliens work for slave wages, which means they will pay very little tax if they become legal. Since they do not earn enough money, they go on welfare and other governmental assistance program that other taxpayers pay for. The net result is that low-income immigrants harm our economy instead of helping it.
I suggest you study how taxes work before you ask such dumb questions.
The only reasons our crappy government wants to welcome illegal aliens is that will vote Democrat and because they are a plentiful source of slave labor to greedy corporations.

Almost all illegal immigrants pay no taxes, SSI, or anything else!
They are paid substandard wage and "under the table". That's why big business wants to keep them illegal.
Once they would grant them amnesty or citizenship, or even legal status, they could no longer be exploited.
I stopped down here at a house with 20 little Mexican roofers on it right after one of our recent hurricanes.
I know a bit of Spanish, and one guy knew enough English to tell me he and his cousins were being paid $3 per hour.
The going wage for roofers in FL is $14 per hr and up.

Down here every day you see hundreds of illegals standing
in parking lots of building-supply stores waiting to be hired
for day-labor. Not too many hotels, fast food joints, etc hire them because they would have to speak English, and most do not. Motels down here hire them to clean or cut grass; once again "under the table" paid in cash.
Real often Mexicans are robbed and sometimes killed because they get their whole pay in cash, and carry it around with them. One bank down here lets the illegals cash checks by putting their fingerprint on a check, because many cannot read or write. It's a different world, and a colossal mess!
First off its not 12 million pay checks, the whole family does not get a paycheck, part of these are kids and pregnant wife's. A good share of these people get paid under the table or anything they do get paid they get back at the end of the year plus thousands of dollars in subsidies our government gives them because of their low wage. The tax payers once again pick up the tab. So you see, that's where the money is going and there is not enough to go around, they are breaking the system very quickly and everyone is sitting around letting it happen.

illegals pay taxes like everybody else. everything you buy they tax. So saying illegals dont pay any taxes at all its stupid. Some of them dont pay income tax which is another story, but many of them do.
According to US Immigration laws paying taxes its a signal of good behavior. Many immigrants know that and if they ever try to get a legal status and have a history of paying taxes that would benefit them.
Without a legal status theres no way you can get welfare in this country. and if you ever get that, immigration will make your life impossible to get your documents right.
Its like I say : with good always comes bad, there are a lotta hard working people, but also some that come to do bad things. those are the ones they should go after.
