I am Pro-Immigration Reform. I also think more people are for it than against it. I think a lot of people can hide behind faxes and calls but when it comes down to publicly standing up for what you believe in they cower and hide because they can't hold up an argument face to face, just spew hate behind an avatar on YA!

I think I know why you did ask the questions about "tell me one thing an illegal alien ever did to you". You didn't really care about the responses, and that's why you never did respond to those wanting to know WHY you asked the question.
You do have a soft spot for illegal aliens and you get your own perverse little thrill out of tormenting those that are against them, many of whom have a LEGITIMATE reason to be against them..

There were very many upset individuals. Your "answer" was a copout, as was your choice for "best answer", especially for a self-professed "outspoken person passionate about their beliefs". A lot of those people suffered genuine losses...and you spit on them.

Yes, it makes a difference - not as much as we'd like, but usually it's the most we can do. What is better is to go to a public meeting and confront your senator about this bill publicly.
Some of the provisions of this bill are so bad they rely on stealth to get passed. The more people demonstrate they're watching, the harder it will be to pass them.
Faxes, calls, etc, are part of the reason the bill didn't already pass the Senate.
And Mrs. Jeter and all the other name-callers - since when is a perfectly reasonable request that our laws be enforced "spewing hate"?
