we are tring to get married in the UK at a registry office do i have to apply for a visa and if i do how do we go about doing that we currently live in Warrington so we are looking to getting married here and registering in Manchester

Answer:
Since you are a US citizen, an option would be a US consulate/embassy. You could either call, go online or ask via e-mail too.

These are great sources of information. I will provide you with a website in the UK.

I believe Warrington is about an hour or two away from London. I don't know if you can call or not but you can e-mail with your inquiries or take a day trip to their offices.

Good luck and Congratulations!

May your marriage be filled with happy healthy memories. I hope your soon-to-be spouse fiance will fill your life with many blessings!
