Why do people try to deal with illegal immigration in racial terms rather than confront the issue of having a?

Absolutely agree. And to the people who say fix your own country. Wouldn't they do that if they could? They are poor and their government might be corrupt. They don't have the means.
It is entirely forseeable, but since their better life is at our expense, particularly at the expense of our own children's education in overcrowded schools with emergency credentialed teachers, and at the expense of our own children's opportunity, that doesn't make it ok.
Mexico has a southern border with a poorer country as well, but THEY enforce their laws.
It is a racial issue because the politicians who whipped it up to gain the votes of white supremacists never had nor ever will have any real interest in the facts of the issue. It is just a basic political move to pit people against eachother and it worked because Americans have no concept of their own history and have absolutely no moral standing to base thier beliefs upon whatsoever.
Do you think there would be this much uproar if millions of White Canadians started to illegally enter & stay in the US?

Why don't they just stay at home and make their own country better for their children
So seeking a better life means breaking laws,demanding things,disrespect the U.S. flag,wave foreign flags,mooch off our social services,etc.I mean if they are going to sneak here the least they can do is appreciate this country and what it has done for them(in the meantime until they get deported that is)
The illegals are making it a racial issue because 'victims' tend to get more consideration, sympathy, and benefits. Mexico isn't as poor as you think, and I don't want to finance their 'better, more comfortable lives' with my children's futures. The ones that are here already get more consideration than we do. How much more should we give (and how many more should we take in?) before it becomes enough?
It's easier to stir up a crowd with emotional scare tactics about "different" people. It's hard to explain the economic reasons because it makes the US sound so selfish.

The only ones using racial terms are the left ,Democrats who seek to create a new welfare class and the unions hope to renew their membership ranks. And if you look at any country they all protect their boarders even Mexico as if you try to enter their boarder you will be shot. Why should we be any different and allow people who only want to take the land away and send us back to Europe. Or to be the back for the entire world as we have done all along and what do they say to us Yankee Go Home. We saved Europe from the Nazis and rebuilt it so they could spit in our face when we are attacked.
And why don't you look at how the Government of Mexico takes all business and makes it theirs not the people so they can stay poor. They also give them maps to break our laws and cross our boarder with its military to help drug and people smugglers. And it is called breaking the law. Should we allow child molesters to be let alone because they only want to have a better life by doing what they want? Or should we let out murders who break the law as they only wanted to make life better by raping a women and taking her money and leaving her children with out children. I can go on and on but you and people on the left are anti American and have no morals and you call any one who does not do what you want by silencing them with words like hat monger, racist, and so on.
Because the kind of people who depend on some artificial political division like a national border to protect their economic well being are cowards who know in their hearts that they can not compete with hard working immigrants. They probably post half their comments on this forum while they are supposed to be working at their offices anyway. Too bad all their carping is useless because their bosses are tired of their lazy incompetent asses.
If they want a better life for their children then why don't they rise up against their own government?
