If you are reffering to offering asylum to people fleeing persecution in other countries you would have to revoke the European convention of Human rights.

Basically start a political regime where innocent people are robbed, tortured and killed by the start. That way people will not flee here to escape persecution and death because they will know things here will be just as bad. Also a lot of people who are already here will leave this nation as they flee for their lives, probably me amongst them.
why do all people think that asylum seekers are spongers ? Not all get everything handed to them on a plate!! My husbnd is n immigrant, he is kurdish iraqi and he came here because he was persecuted. I work full time to support my family and pay for everything ourselves. We claim no benefits, were not allowed to.

No one mentions how many young single mothers there are claiming everything, or drug addicts that go on crime sprees and cant wait for their next dole check.
This country could only ever be asylum free when the world is not at war and there are people starving and dying, or, when our country stops starting wars with everyone, and saying that they are helping!!!!!!
