175 Immigration Violators, Fugitives Arrested In OC...Are you Proud?
were 27 "criminal aliens". One of those 27 was Jamie Peña-Martinez, 30, a previously deported from Mexico with a prior conviction for child molestation. He was arrested at a residence in Santa Ana. Another of the arrested immigrants was identified as a Mexican national wanted by Mexican authorities for ambushing and murdering his 74-year-old uncle nine years ago in Zacatecas over a land dispute.
AZTLAN mythholders: Are you proud to be associated with these criminals? 15% were criminal aliens.
AMERICANS: Are you proud to see something being done about these criminals?

Answer:
Sorry Spazz, 15% is horrible. Of 175 Illegals caught, it was 15%. There are what, 12-20 million Illegals depending on who you believe. 15% of that would be between 80,000 and 130,000 who are guilty of more crimes besides comming here illegaly.
America has a legal population of around 320 million, of those, again depending on your source, 5.1 to 7 million are in the legal system as criminals at local, state, and federal levels. That is conservitally is between 1.95% and generously 2.18%. So yes it does look bad for the illegals. Statistics are easy to manipulate to say what anyone wants, but straight numbers are easy to figure. Rather than go with your 2.2 million in prison I even added probation and parole so we could give you all the advantage you think you deserve, and it still looks bad for the illegals.
CJ I am proud to see something being done, I just wish it was being done faster since by the legal standards citizens are held to, the illegals are 100% lawbreakers.
Yes, absolutely. Unfortunately, this is a tiny number compared to the number of criminals living here illegally. However, that is a start.
Now let's also fine each employer of these illegals for employing workers without real documentation.
Are you proud that 20 people here will be happy but in the real world everyone is against you?
keep leaving the negative marks - I take it as a compliment
It's a start anyway.12 million more and we will really be onto something.

well your question is full of facts and near as i can tell very accurate with one flaw. You said 15% were criminal aliens it should say 15% were criminal aliens who have broken more then one law, 100% were criminal aliens just being here illeagaly.
I'm not proud but i'm glad that ICE is starting to do thier job.
Well not proud but surprised that you think that it will prevent them from returning. As always will be the case when the Cartels buy off a large percentage of patrols, customs agents, and reservist. Especially now that demand is money big money that Cartels just have laying around for people as yourself!
Metro.
"In the real world", more Americans are against illegal aliens...the same as on this website...Americans of all races...
cj_sez- Hello again, good question.
Yes! Little by little we WILL take back what was rightfully ours.
I just read the article I was so very proud. I wish I could send Orange County two thumbs up. And let them know to keep up the good work. Now if other county's would follow suit and do the same, what a different it could make on the illegal law breaks that are here breaking more laws. I wish this would make all states and county's get off they're rear ends and do the same but on a bigger scale. What a great story to read for once. And as for you Whiz No whiz Not Racists Just Very sick of LAW BREAKS
considering the huge percentage of american citizens in prison , illegals aren't doing so bad
I hear about drop house busts all the time here in Phoenix. Separate incidents and ring busts. Sadly, I CONSTANTLY hear them on a bi-weekly basis and that's been for several months!! My God in Heaven, how many more are there!?
I'm very glad that something is finally being done. I can't take pride in this personally, - but I can take pride in my country for taking action.
Proud to say I am an American who cares deeply for this great nation. Proud to say that we are fighting the good fight here and those whom oppose us in this stance are truly out of whack with the severity and reality of this awful situation we're in.
The facts aren't make believe people, WAKE-UP! New York City was awful, terribly high crime rate, debt beyond imagination, corrupt officials and guess what? Beyond all the negative nay-sayers, beyond all the criticism, Rudy Giuliani cleaned up America's City! He did it by starting small, starting at the source, he cleaned up the streets from the ground up.
I use this example to defend the fact that we are and need to CONTINUE to start with the few, the smaller numbers, the 175 illegals, you start from the ground up. Yes there are millions, but don't sit back, and simply say, "there's just too many, there's nothing we can do now, oh well, deal with it..." that's all a load of passive, liberal crap!
Where is the logic behind allowing amnesty to illegals? Where is the logic to bleeding-hearts for the "poor-Mexicans"? Where is the logic that allows the sympathizers to actually support those who are so sorry and pitiful that they can't even try to make something of their own country, who don't have any real pride in their own homeland and invade our country to take advantage of our economy and welfare and social security? Where is the logic in turning a blind-eye and deaf-ear to the added crimes from the fugitives, child molesters, rapist and murders? It all defies logic. Period.
We take a stand. We fight. We clean the streets up. We notify the authorities when we are suspicious of illegal activities instead of turning our heads. We speak up, make our voices heard and take control of our homeland!
Hey well that's some good news for our side, perhaps a large scale full blown raid through all border states, to begin with. Oh poor wittle immigwants...I tot I taw a ICE agent.HaHaHaHaHaHaHa
That is wonderful news. It's about time that these people were apprehended and deported! When they are a criminal element even before they broke our laws to enter our country illegally, it's doubly refreshing when our officials do their job!
Yes I am. However sadly thanks to Michael Chertoff, of the 2000 ICE agents promised for crack-downs, they have been cut to a mere 200. Still even they get to use local law enforcement agencies to get the job done.
ummm I wonder whose side Chertoff is on? Please don't tell me I already have that Q figured out. But thanks for thinking of me.
