Hmm. Have you picked up a history book lately? When you do answer these questions:
Who were the very first settlers here? (trust me it was not the Europeans)
Who was brought here, against their will, to become slaves?
Who was runned off by US goverment for land? (Hint: Texas, New Mexico, Arizona & California)
Who came here to run away from horrible dictatorship from Europe? (see how I was not being specific there?)
Do you think maybe, just maybe it's still going on? America although having a horrible President is still the melting pot of the world. That's why people come here.
Technically, unless you are a Native American, everyone here came from immigrants. Even the White Anglo-Saxon Protestants were immigrants when they first got here.

It was "founded" on. But, during the Industrial Revolution, mostly, is when we started getting a large influx of immigrants. "Bring me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to be free." This is what American turned out to be. It's where the people want to be for opportunity.

While the nation was founded by WASP's, it is the immigrants that actually built the country. Also try to remember that even the WASP's were immigrants, this land already had people who lived here.

They got the idea because all the Anglo Saxon Protestants immigrated here. There are no native people to the land that is now known as the USA. Even the Native Americans had immigrated here from other places. So the only reason civilization in the USA is the way it is is because some of the immigrants took over all the other ones.

Yes, and yet the Native Americans had populated US land even before the religious dingbells ran away from Europe. That means nothing any more, because the "White, Anglo-Saxon Protestants" overpowered them--with superior weapons. Well now the "White, Anglo-Saxon Protestants" have been--and are being--overpowered by the immigrants, who are on the whole physically, intellectually, spiritually, and morally superior.

The United States is called a "Nation of Immigrants" because when this nation was founded it's doors were open to anyone who were looking for a new way of life. This nation is a "melting pot". Some of the people who came here made great contributions that many of us use today. The only reason we have a problem with Immigration today is because we no longer have thr room or resource to care for the people who want to come here and start a new way of life.

If the founding fathers "vision" was to perpetuate the rule of white men, why didn't they write it into the Constitution? Also, why was the 13th Amendment passed?
