Until when do the current retrogression of filipino nurses visa applicants to the US last?

Answer:
It's not clear how long. In 2005 50,000 extra visas were set aside for nurses (who would ordinarily be subject to the EB-3 category backlogs). Nurses were then able to come in without the longer EB-3 wait for a visa.

When the 50,000 extra were exhausted, Nurses were folded back into the regular EB-3 category and are now subject to the same wait as other skilled workers and professionals. The June visa bulletin shows availability for cases filed prior to June 2005 for everyone. Filipina nurses are at the same date.
