Single layer fence being built when double layer called for 'due to funding' are they setting up to fail?
So they can say 'See it doesn't work' when single layer doesn't?

If the Russians could secure the borders of the Soviet Union for 40 years, we can secure our southern border first since this is where most of the illegals are coming from and then the northern border. It's not just a fence, it's our country.

Personally I believe that they have no intention of finishing that fence.Texas is building a super highway corridor from the heart of Mexico to Canada.Commerce is the culprit here as Mexico is our #1 trading partner and all most all of our refined gas comes from there. A catch 22 if you will. All the rest of this debate on Immigration is grandstanding by politicians to get re-elected or in support of party politics.
I dont recall needing a fence before our politically correct democrats needed cheap labor? Before our republican Reagan granted amnesty ,and now our laws have just been pushed aside for cheap labor to corporations at middle class tax payers expence,We need a president that will inforce our laws.We dont need the expence of a fence. We need a president that is willing to bring our kids home and fight for our own country instead of a country that is in the middle of a civil war we shouldnt be involved in.
It amazes me that if they were having their pristine homes built, they'd have it done right, proper, and by the usage of the housing codes. This assures them quality, and up to safety standards. And they wouldn't settle for less than those assurance's.
So of course they are setting it up to fail. They seem to think that is their job to make it fail so they can say that the passage of their reform bill was the magic pill to fix it all.
If people don't keep complaining to get this government body off their @zzes and do things right, it's likely that there will be another revolution in this country. They are thumbing their noses at Americans. They felt the knock-down drag-out punch they were nailed with when they wanted their bill to pass. If they want to continue to be the punching bags... Let's punch away and give them a real beat-down.
