I will be getting married in a year but my fiance got deported to mexico not to long ago..?
Answer:
aint going to happen.the only way to get him legal is slim and none...here's the slim...
Once your married, you will need to file petition l-130.it will of course be denied due to him entering the country and was subsequently deported. AFTER he has his l-130 denied, you will then have to file a l-601 Application for Waiver of Ground of Excludability otherwise known as a "hardship" waiver. Seeing that he is from Mexico, he will have to go to Ciudad for this interview...before he is granted that interview you will have to supply USCIS a letter explaining the Hardship.if they agree that there is a REAL hardship, they will allow the interview and if he passes that he will be granted entrance into the US. then he can adjust his status accordingly. This can take up to 18 months...this is the SLIM chance he has of becoming legal...good luck, you will need it. I work in an attorneys office so I am quite knowledgable of this.
Edit- your only 16?? Why are you even THINKING of getting married for anyways??
Wow you can really pick a winner.
you can't do a thing. your fiance has to do it. why did he get deported? is he a criminal? you may want to reconsider.
She sure can, I hope he stays there
that sucks you need a real mexican with papers marry him in mexico then sneak him back
Visit the Mexican Embassy, they will lead you through the cituation with turn by turn directions.
If he's already been deported then he's barred from coming back to the US for a minimum of five years. I hope you can get accustomed to living in Mexico with him.
Go to mexico to be with him and stay there!
FIND sumone else
Have you ever been to Mexico i have so if your thinking on going best to check it out first>Is his family an friends going to except you?? like we do here??? An it will not be a vacation,it's not like the USA.Completely different.Since he was deported he has issues. On returning legally.Best check on the what ifs on marrying in Mexico there might be a pile of forms for you.
He's been deported, so he's not coming back for five years. with or without papers because he has a record. And he will not get any papers because he has committed a crime. So, get used to living in Mexico. If he commited a felony, he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Good anwer Carly, its true he is a deported felon. Most likely and hopefully he is never allowed back into the U.S. It angers me that you would even want a person like that to be in our country. So good luck boiling your water everyday in Mexico.
ummm involuntary deportation requires 10 years before you can reenter legally. guess you better go live there with him if you wanna be together.
your fiance as to wait 10 years until he can came back to the US.
Yep, he made a "wrong mistake". Is there any other kind? You will need to go there. But I do see another fence hopper in the near future. I bet you don't love him enough to live with him in Mexico for 10 years. You will not live with a felon there for that long. Bet ya.
Hmm,
Felony on his record..by all means bring him back over here.
He got deported for a reason. It will be very difficult for you to get him any sort of residence papers with a Felony on his record, especially if he committed the Felony here.
Because he had a felony he can't come back even if you married him. You have bad taste in men
