No. The US has modified the immigration law and now requires all terrorists illegally crossing the border to wear the bright orange vests that are used by highway workers. In addition, they are required to have the word "terrorist" in block letters on the front and back of the vest. This will reassure the citizens of the United States that the goverment is working hard to stop illegal immigration and has taken strong action to identify and apprehend any terrorist who tries to sneek across our highly secure border. This is another example of your tax dollars at work and a shining example of how efficient and effective your government is at providing you security and protecting your liberty.

Yes, there are many ways that a person could sneak across any of our borders if they were intent on doing so.
All of our borders are pourous and it seems no one really seems to care outside of the citizens on the borders who deal with the cost of those illegal entrants who are not trying to blend in and make an 'honest' living.
Having a border fence between the US and Mexico would not stop all but would certainly put a dent in the numbers that flow across every day.
Allowing the border patrol to do their job would be another good move and holding people accountable when they shoot at our patrol guards and citizens would be a good move as well.
As to who is to blame? Certainly the person who causes the carnage, what ever the form.
And don't be fooled, a suitcase is the perfect cover for any number of chemical or biological weapons that could convievably wipe out hundreds and thousands of people.

Given that we now have about 20 million illegal aliens in our country (and that many have criminal records, as well as those who are currently incarcerated), I think the law of averages would rule that at least some of them could/would have no problem fulfilling a deadly scenario.
The system we are using right now is to track all wmd through intelligence. So the blame would lie with the intelligence community. A backup system to learn who is coming here would reduce the chance of error. But there are too many politicians who want to use this system for political advantage that it is not going to happen soon.

Sure, a terrorist could cross the border unnoticed. Which border are you talking about though, Mexico or Canada? Which border does a terrorist have the best chance of making it across? How many of the 9-11 terrorists were border hoppers? None right? They came here legally. Can a terrorist carry a WMD across the border like a bottle of water? How much does the average WMD weigh? Is there such thing as portable WMD's? Why would a terrorist try to enter through the Mexican border and risk being caught by the ever vigilant minutemen and their border patrol and Natl. Not once did you ever think of how a bill of this nature could affect this entire country and every one of her citizens. Your thought in this matter concerned you and only you.
