How long does it take to get a UK marriage visa?
Answer:
It depends. A couple of weeks to a few months. You have to have all the necessary documentation and proof your relationship is genuine. You also need to satisfy the consulate that you will leave the UK after marrying.
Rather than focussing on how long - you should make sure that you have all the documentation that you will need to demonstrate that your relationship is a genuine one.
About a week longer than a Master Card!
(am i understanding this ?)
Stay in India
UK is full
Probably not long if your quick! the rules are changing every week. Try british Embassy in New Delhi. Is your girlfriend British? This makes a difference too.
It could be a few weeks to 10 years no saying how long you would wait

my friend tried this for her fiance in japan - it took 2 years and lots of money but if you get here you have no rights to unemployment, health benefits or tax benefits until you have been here 2 years and then have expensive examinations to get to allow you to stay. - stay where you are as unemployment is very high here, housing costs high and wages very low.
It will depend on the motivation and authenticity of the application. The Embassy will question you at lengh on your sole intentions. It would be better if your Fiance was present at the interview which is Ok for a Fiance Visa.Should your case be genuine then you will get the Visa. The refusal rate is very low but again you must furnish proper documentation incl a full Medical certificate. But if you have not been in the Uk before it will be better to secure a tourist Visa first and later say in 3 or 4 months apply for the fiance visa.Visas can be got in a matter of days dependind on the appointment schedule. You have the details so now apply and good luck to you both.
Marriage is another trick to gain access to UK hard earned facilities, you should be ashamed. Why don't you make a better place of India ?after all we spent 1000 years making a great UK. perhaps the job of making India into a decent place to live is too difficult
And whatever you do ignore George Galloway and don't call yourself "British" if you get here. Not wishing to be rude but really we don't want any more immigrants
