I was married to a guy from El-Salvador and the 1st thing is to get u a immigration lawyer. it took us 31/2 years, but that was before all this came about them sending them back.My lawyer was able to not send him back home and him come back to the USA with his papers. the proses is very slow now, so u may have to wait longer for his green card, the 1st thing he has to get is a passport, then alot of paper work such as his background check, the name of all sisters and brothers ,parents, dates of births for all.and the last thing is your meeting with the immigration themself's to answer why he should be aloud to stay here.Make sure you take lots of pictures and a book just for you and him and family to show that you are married for love and children if you have any. As for his parents coming here before he has his green card is very unlikely. my email address is vickirc60@yahoo.com if you need any more questions asked.
It sounds like who you really want to talk to is the Passport office.
I'm not really sure where you get them but I know it takes a long time. Well for my aunt and cousins in Mexico they're still waiting on the immigration people or for their appointment. My uncle got here and my grandparents.
Don't file anything until someone assesses his eligibility. If you can afford it, you can find an immigration lawyer in the phone book. If not, look under legal services. These services are for low income folks. If the place you call can't help you, ask them to refer you to an organization in your area that handles immigration matters. Good luck
Well . if you go to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.html,...
probably you'll find some answers on your questions.
But as much as I know the filling procedure isn't difficult and can be done by yourself or your husband
Go to USCIS.GOV website. I did the paperwork for my wife, not very difficult. Does he have a Green Card/Work Permit?
Not knowing his current status makes it somewhat difficult to advise.
