hello Jessica ? you did steal it the mexican government let american families settle in texas with the condition that they learned spanish which they never did (so i don't know why you complain about mexicans) and then they claim that land as if it was theirs. however you did buy california, new mexico
and the other parts of mexico. so that is why many mexicans think that texas should be given back. which personally i think it's silly . because it's american soil now and nothing could change that.
The spanish conquered mexico, mexicans are mestizo, meaning half indian half european (spanish blood). so if you say how come the full spanish blooded mexican don't return mexico to the indians then that is a true statement..but 90% is mestizo in mexico so how can you return your half own race the land your own ascestors had?. now the u.s lands are a tottally different matter, Im mexican american and i believe the u.s owns those lands no matter what and mexicans who say "ohh give back our lands" should shut the hell up..it was a done deal a long time ago..thats that. so overall no one should give up no land ..that was history now live with it
