Was Zina Linnik killed by an immigrant who should have been deported?

"Police have found the body of Zina Linnik, the abducted 12-year-old Tacoma girl. The suspect is in custody:

Court records name the man as 42-year-old Terapon Dang Adhahn, a convicted sex offender who has been in custody on an unrelated immigration matter since Monday. ... In 1990, he was charged with violently raping a 16-year-old relative, according to court records. He pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of first-degree incest in exchange for completing 60 months of sexual-deviancy counseling."

Answer:
Yes, but then all illegal aliens should've been deported long ago, and the border secured to remove their opportunities to commit crimes here.
YUP! Her killer was from Thailand and should have been deported in 1990!
Even if he wasn't deported he should have been in prison for life, but I guess since he kept it in the family. The judge should also be charged.
He should have been deported after his first conviction
Law enforcement really has got to start doing a better job tracking sex offenders. This guy did not register, so I wonder how hard law enforcement tries to find the offenders that don't register. The dad gave a partial plate number and said an asian took her. Police should have been able to locate Terapon within minutes and save the girl.
He was an illegal alien that should have been deported after being caught on his first offense.
Apparently, yes.
This guy is a sicko. He should have been deported in 1990. Who is the judge who let this guy walk free and only gave him counseling as a punishment? Unbelievable! Now an innocent little girl is dead.
Yes,I see this everyday in the news and the only thing that changes is the illegals name. How many more of our children will be preyed upon before something is done?
Yes she was..but heres the thing...even if he was deported.our lack of enforcement at the borders probably would allowed him to come back anyways...Personally, I think our govt needs to be sued...
That is part of the point of people not liking illegal immigration. You never know what sort of person you are getting in here.
Granted ( and someone will bring it up) we have citizens born here who kill people. The point in all this is, people come here illegally, then commit even more crimes after the first of just being here without permission.

Why should any citizen be raped, killed, mugged, terrorized, etc by a person who should never have been in OUR country in the first place?
I keep reading where people defend illegal immigration by saying "the land of the free". That does not mean "the land where everyone can freely enter without permission". It is a statement about the way the citizens live here. Free from persecution, etc.
Everyone does have a right to try for the American Dream, if they do it legally. Apply to become a citizen. My own father did, came from overseas on a ship, and got a job as soon as he got here ( sponsored by his aunt and uncle). He learned enough English to do a menial job, and took classes to learn to speak, read and write English. So I am the last person against legal immigration.
But the fact that people are coming here committing crime after crime against the citizens of the country is appalling. We have our own criminals to prosecute. We don't need to clog our prisons with illegals, and pay for their upkeep.
First, tighten our border security. I personally knew a man ( co-worker) who had been deported for a felony. BEFORE I knew him. He was back, illegally. Instead of prison, they just sent him home, something that doesn't happen to citizens who are convicted of a felony. They don't send citizens "home" they send them to prison.
I think there should be no plea bargains for illegals and their penalties should be far stiffer than the ones imposed on citizens. Don't pull the race card here people, because first law broken was illegal entry, and then an arrest for a separate offense just shows that the person is not the sort that would have been admitted to this country in the first place.
And these are the people who stomp on the American flag as a way to show how much they love being here.

These are not people who came here to share our dream of what this country was founded on. These are people who laugh at our system and how they got by with the crime of getting here illegally.
Any illegal immigrant who kills a citizen of this country should get the death penalty, no other sentence fits the crime. How many thousands of miles did they travel to commit that crime? That is one hell of a lot of work put into being a criminal.
Once the borders are secure, then when we send them home, they won't be back in a short time, able to commit crimes, and the only way in will be legally, which is how it is supposed to be.
He should have been deported after the first offense, why in the world would we allow a person who is a violent offender to remain in this country to terrorize more people? Being granted citizenship should have the stipulation that if you break the law you are automatically deported, imagine the reduction in crime rates among immigrants. Being granted American citizenship should be a privilege not a right, if you break the laws you should be sent back to where you came from, permanently. Why should we not only have to deal with the criminal acts of the immigrant but also have to pay for jailing them? Let their land of origin deal with the punishment, we shouldn't have to keep paying.
Absolutely! I wonder if this phases those that are pro-illegal at all?
I don't see why we waste all this $ on scum bags like this all it takes is a 10 cents bullet to get rid of the problem...
yes she was. he was supposed to be deported a long time ago but then nobody found him. people knew what they were looking for but they didnt know it was him.
