Is it best to stay in one's own country with one's own people in order to improve one's own homeland?

Answer:
Yes. When I was in college I got to know several students from India, the Philippines, Russia, Iraq, and Iran et al who came to America for their higher education and then returned home to improve the lives of their own people.

And that goes for Americans who have studied abroad and brought new ideas and fresh insight to our country which has definitely improved us as a nation.
It is difficult to make changes and help others make those changes if you're not there to be actively involved.
Yes
I dont really think thats a question that anyone could answer for you. When the time comes hopefully you make a decision.
That Idea is called Nationalism...which isn't too bad to a degree..you see while it bolsters the nation it also shuts it
out from the rest of the world somewhat
Nobody ever said the road to greatness was easily traveled. If one wants instant gratification, one is too pampered to know what it is they are fighting for.
I think so. It's a tougher task for some countries than for others because some just have a really long way to go.

Provided communication remains open and ideas are exchanged, sure!

Sure. I suppose that the pilgrims could have (and should have)stayed back in England and worked to change the system. But, like cowards, they left their homeland and people behind and came to America WITHOUT PERMISSION. And, because the Native Americans did not enforce their immigration laws, more and more traitors and cowards came from Europe to rob and the pillage their Native American neighbors. Finally, the country was overrun by selfish white criminals who eventually killed the majority of Native Americans and stole their land. If only people would stay in their own homelands instead of running like cowards when things get tough, none if this would have ever happened. Good question!
