nothing good-- unless somehow we could use the resources very well. Probably end up in a civil war anyway, with different cultures and everything. The rest of the world wont like it, because it would seem like the US is taking over the world and call us Imperialists. The UN would probably step in but the US practicaly owns the UN or does it?
Sorry, but the Canadians are way too smart to get involved with us. We're like the embarrassing little bratty brother to them, I am sure.
We would have the New World Order and we would not be free, but no more than SERFS here in the USA...No Constitution or Bill of Rights. We would have The ultra rich and the lower class here. Everything that our men and woman have died for would be spit on.

mexicans will become the biggest minority group.(actually the already are). people would lose jobs because mexicans would do it for cheap.mexicans will bring over foreign diseases and crime would shoot up because the criminals from mexico would emerge with american criminals
and canadians would speak french, well just some. so welll have to learn that along with spanish for the mexicans, then we'd have to change the flag.
Not much, from a governmental standpoint. All three countries have different styles of government, and the fundamental styles would clash.
There is, of course, a potentially viable movement to merge countries in the form of a union, similar to the EU. It's referred to as the North American Union, or NAU. The following link, from Wikipedia, is not necessarily the most trustworthy, I think (because Wikipedia isn't the final word in many aspects), but it does have some fundamental information about such a union.
By the way: Personally, I don't and wouldn't support such a union, because I think it would be disastrous for all three countries (except for the very wealthy and the very poor, who would be the only ones to benefit).
"Yo quiero taco bell" is enough merging we need for now. We have enough issues without changing the US boundaries on a map. Canada wouldn't want any part of merging with us anyway.
I'm not a big fan of "what if" questions that are never going to happen.
Unless of course it involves me, Prince William and a tiara......

Our schools and services would be even further ruined than by illegal immigration, and our rich corporations would get access to the oil of both other countries, while we pay taxes to give benefits to the cheap labor they bring in to drive down our own wages and benefits.

*grins* The Canadians would refuse to speak English. The Mexicans would pressure the US to speak Spanish (like they're doing now).

Press 1 for Spanish.
Press 2 for English
And 3 for French.
