What does the California driving test consist of?

I know it doesnt belong but I want to get the biggest audience.

How long does it usually last? Do they expect you to parallel park? Go in reverse for a block? Anything unusual?

It consists of one question. Do you have a car to drive. You do? You pass.
go here & check it out...http://www.dmv.ca.gov/dmv.htm . I suggest that you go into the office where you plan on taking your test & observe. Every office is different. You should count on a minimum of 1 hour & you WILL need to call beforhand & get a scheduled appointment date & time to take the actual driving test. You can take a written test anytime. Yes, you MUST parallel park, usually between 2 cones, sometimes between 2 cars!
