I am very proud of the amnesty that is being proposed. Thank God that this Congress is finally proactive and not hindered by what is actually a very small segment of American society's social hatred of others.

It won't help, corporations pay out millions in campaign funds to politicians of both parties to insure that their supply of cheap labor is uninterrupted. Even 100,000 phone calls will not cancel out a $100,000 donation. The best thing to do is vote these people out of office and replace with people that care.
It's not good at all, it's like opening all prisons and set all prisoners free just by paying a fine.
This is a very complicated issue but the sad part about it is that many people are extremly ignorant and dont have a clue of what they are talking about. Im an immigrant that almost died trying to cross the border when i was a kid. Think about it, how desperate your situation is that your parents have no choice but to take that risk. We productive members of society are been stereotype, we agree that all those who are comiting crimes should not be given the opportunity to get legalize and should be prosecuted. Reality is that the only way you can migrate legally to the US is if you are rich. Yes we break the law by coming here illegaly, but we have to. we pay thousands of dollars plus we have no rights but we do have to pay taxes. Have you ever heard of the TIN number.Hard working families who strugle to reach the american dream and work hard in our nations economy base(agriculture) just want a job and the opportunity to offer a better future, should not be treated like criminals. All those immigrants who commit crimes should be deported, and prosecuted we agree we just dont agree that every single one of us is a hoodlum who just sucks all the benefits of the system. All white people part of the KKK? All black people are drug addicts and dont have jobs? All white people redneck inbreeds? NO,NO,NO, all those are stereotypes so do a little bit of homework and educate your selfs before you talk about something you have no clue about.

This was done behind close doors. The document is over 700 pages long so who in thier mind is going to read it?
This was a strategery move by the Democrats moved on by thier left wing base. Why do you Think Pelosi and Reid are against it and Bush is for it? Again this is a ploy to destroy once and for good the Republican party. Ever since the Dems lost power in 1994, thier one and only goal was to take back the government and destroy the GOP.
In my opinion I believe a mutual agreement was devised, whereas the President gets his troop funding, and the Democrats get thier future voters.
FACTS:
60% of the felony crimes in the United States are committed by illegals.
One in 5 of every illegal alien that comes across the border has had at least 1 felony conviction.
California's felons in prisons are 30% Mexicans.

If this amnesty bill passes of every one illegal alien given amnesty, they will bring another 11 family members with them with amnesty. Currently thier are between 12-16 million illegals in this country with 400,000 crossing over each year. Do the math.
To solve this problem we must
1. Seal-up not secure our borders. Build the fence without delay (since November, only 2 miles of the 700 mile fence has been built).
2. Add more border agents.
3. Enforce that Employers get verification of citizenship.
4. Issue photo I.D's
5. Impose a fine and/or prison to Employers who hire illegals
6. Raise minimum wage so these jobs are filled by U.S. citizens.
7. And to become a citizen, you must not have committed a crime in the U.S.
The sanctity and security of our nation is at stake.
Reason Pelosi and Reid against it, if it fails as it will, they can say they opposed it thus securing Hillary in the White house.
This whole immigration situation should be decided in the 2008 campaign, not the current congress.
