to the chick that posted right before I did. We would not be underpopulated without the illegal immigrants. We are overpopulated as we speak.It would even itself out. and furthermore, they send back 23 BILLION a year to Mexico anyway so I doubt it would effect our economy anymore than THEY already are. Most people in most jobs are NOT mexicans. They only make up .3% of the college population so it is not like that are doing BIg things over here.We american citizens shouldnt have to sacrifice our dreams so illegals can make theirs come true.Check your facts sweetie before you post, because I HAVE damned sure checked mine!!
No, we shouldn't have to do this. ALL states should be for American citizens and LEGAL immigrants, only. ALL states should enforce our immigration laws and deport illegals. We should be free to live anywhere in this country that we want to WITHOUT any illegal immigrants.
Well, there were cities/states that had just made laws (oklahoma and a Texas city) that would clear illegals from those places. Now this stupid amnesty proposal invalidates those laws.
I truly believe that's why there was a rush to write this proposal and there's now a rush to accept it and sign it - because states were beginning to say enough, we're taking care of this problem ourselves. Why rush to secure the border all of the sudden when they hadn't worried about it for over 7 years? Both of those city/state laws were signed within this month.
Now the federal government will invalidate the rights of those states to rid themselves of law breakers. If I hadn't seen it for myself, I'd think this was a joke.
:::I'll add my 2cents to the post below as well, and to everyone who says we need immigrants to make this country run. The United States of America has wannabe immigrants beating down its door. !! Why in the world would we pick the immigrants who come here illegally and break our laws when we have DECENT nonAmericans waiting their turn and doing it right?
oh hells to the no's!! Without immagrants this country would be underpopulated and United States would be begging for immagrants to come back and make their country populated again. Anyways most workers in ANY JOB are mexicans!
