SPP is for real, you can find it at SPP.gov and by looking on the Canadian consulate web page. And there really is a plan for a corridor up Texas through Kansas to Canada (which would bypass our port security and truckers, both.) For those in the middle of the country, that corridor would be the new border, and your states the new border states.
Some things said about NAU may not be real, one currency, one flag is unlikely given how things have gone in Europe. However, what is on the web pages is quite bad enough when you remember that this was never presented to Congress to ratify as a treaty should be, and is as some say 'NAFTA on steroids' to which I would add 'with free immigration'. Our schools and services would be raided until they were no better than those to the south of us, in return for our industry getting a crack at Mexico's oil, and Canada's oil and timber, from what I have been able to piece together.
Since SPP was never presented to Congress, it is vulnerable under our constitution. I figure that is the reason Section 213 of the Senate Immigration bill had a 'sense of Congress' to accelerate SPP. They wanted to give it 'color' of constitutionality, even if, from the debate in both the Senate and the press, the Senators hadn't a clue the provision was in there.
Open borders, it's already happening.
It's real and we have to watch this and future administrations,

I hope it does not. But it seems, that in time, it will. There are also a lot of persons in Mexico that do not want this either.
