Did you go to the DC MARCH FOR AMERICA rally today?
Answer:
I was at the rally, too, and was appalled by the lack of public interest in the event. I would estimate there were 100-200 people at the rally. Given the long-term importance of the immigration bill, you'd think a few more than that could stir themselves to come out and make their voices heard.
We've got men and women in uniform putting their lives on the line in the Mideast, supposedly to preserve our freedom while we're losing our country here at home and nobody can be bothered to do anything about it but just roll over. Our "leaders" flout the will of the great majority of the people, and this is met with near-complete apathy. We'll get what we deserve, which is a Spanish-speaking majority running the country.
Im not racist... its a racist march... Why dont they start a march opposing black people...? send the blacks home where they came from. at least the mexicans work (and also pretty cheaply.)
I dont agree with my statement above.. but hey, since there are so many people that aren't seeing the big picture here (you know the ones that scream... they are illegal... they broke the law (we all go over the speed limit from time to time... also a crime), they are destroying this country)... its all white supremecy in this country...and everyone needs to feel bigger than the little man... Corporations start it... and we all follow... and I'M WHITE (US CITIZEN)!
I don't think it's Lou Dobbs' choice to mention it or not. There is no media coverage of this event because the government does not want it. It would be an embarrassment to them in front of the world for our citizens to be protesting our so called 'freedom'. I imagine some coverage will show up on You Tube. Maybe you can find it in the next few weeks before it is censored.
From the gov--I haven't been able to find anything, but I'll keep checking.
Because its not worth mentioning
I've been wondering why there is no press coverage for this event! I knew it was happening but due to ill health, I could not participate. The government should be ashamed that they allow the da*n Mexicans disrespecting our flag and our nation in the news but isn't showing what the people want. I'm not surprised and that is a sad commentary on our nation. They showed the million man march, I saw that. Why should this be any different?
I couldn't make it but I had family and friends go in my place.
No. Because no one's taking your silly march seriously.
EDIT:
About how many people came to the march today and yesterday?
