get a job offer from a company which is large enough that it can deal with the issue of helping getting you a work visa. That will be the easiest way. You may also need to take some driving tests in the US, though the requirements in different states will differ, your employer will tell you what they expect from you.
funnily enough I met once a truck driver in the UK who illegally worked in the US way back. He said eventually they caught him and threw him out and he isn't allow to return for 10 years, not even as a tourist, but I got the impression he still thinks it was fun for getting around.
