USA immigration K-1 visa petition?
My question is that all comments by everyone else is that the initial petition is normally approved within weeks, however it says on the USICS website that they are currently processing December which would mean a delay of 7 months. Is this right ? Is anyone else recently been approved and if so from which centre and how long since they filed ?

Yeah, they absolutely never update that site. Don't sweat it, it'll be about two months to approve, or you'll get a request for more information. Just get it back immediately or you'll be waiting several more months. Also, where was it filed? Where does your fiance live? Often they send the correspondence to them and if they're in another country it can take weeks just to mail. My husband got his correspondence in Canada a couple weeks after I got mine here in the states.
K-1 Fiancee visa's usually take between 6 to 8 months to process. Keep checking online for your status, and if Nessesary, set an appointment up thru infopass, which you can find at www.uscis.com
Have you ever recieved any Notice of Action?
It is about right. The process can take anything from 6 to a year. It all depends because there could be some complications. if everything goes right it should be no more that 9 months.

ok depending on where she is their are some really great immigration lawyers that work witht that and get it done i have known three people who used him and it took them abot three maybe four months for them to get their visa he will tell you everything you need to know and how to make it go a lot quicker their are a lot of lawyers out their who try to squeese you for everything your worth if you email me from my profile and want his info i will give it to you i wish you the best of luck and dont give up
