Of course not. However, I've seen that happen time and time again. If you disagree with someone, and you are either a patriotic American and/or of European descent (white) you are automatically considered racist by some people. Some people were raised to hate whites and Americans (which they often find synonymous) and it doesn't matter what is being discussed. If we disagree it is automatically deemed racist. Always best to test the waters before having a political debate in mixed company.
