What do you think of the Senate's plan on illegal immigration?
Answer:
It is a honest attempt to solve a complex problem that will fail. Too many objections from both sides (left and right). We already have seen the right critizing the bill because is in their words an amnesty and the left does not like that separation of families. So, I think that this bill is doomed when it reaches the House of Representatives. And even if it passes, I do not see too many inmigrants coming forward because of the provision of the head of the household having to return to their country of origin. How about a single parent? Where do the kids stay? In foster care? Anglos do not understand the value that family has for Hispanics. It is the number one consideration, period. For that reason, I think that it will not be successful.
sound good
Bush is all for it so the correct course would be to oppose it.
Anything that does not include enforcing our current laws and deporting any and all illegals is a waste of time and money
It stinks... something for everyone and nothing for anyone..
IT WON'T PASS.
If your here illegaly, you should be deported. It doesn't matter where your from.
It doesn't help anyone. Its bad the whole way around.
I think it's not the best solution but at least they are doing something about it. I wouldn't have a problem if it passed.
This Country has let it's doors open for a long time, all the quests have taken up residence, but the house is full.We all know the problems, the solution? The huge complicated piece of chaos they call a plan, needs refinement, and I do believe it should not be rushed through any process until it is abridged into to a legible, and workable plan.We must secure the Borders, this is no small task. The flood must stop, and the illegal workers must be counted and given work papers. We must stop the Corporations from taking advantage of these undocumented workers.Citizenship?,they all should have to get in line with everyone else who wants that.Mexico should be dealt with diplomatically to improve living and working conditions for their people,Our Government must push this Slum Lord of a Government to improve it's Conditions.
What plan?
Pure BS
I THINK THE BILL IS TOO CONSERVATIVE.I HEARD THAT THE BILL WOULD SEPERATE THE FAMILIES OF IMMIGRANTS AND CHANGE THE LEGACY OF FAMILY!IT'S WORKED IN THE PAST.!
WAY TOO CONSERVATIVE!!!!
I don't agree with it. I'd like to ask everyone who is illegally here in the USA how they would respond if people moved uninvited into their homes and demanded to be served meals and bed and then their personal property.
Its sucks. It coddles and rewards criminals.
I think it is terrible. I think our schools are failing our own children and our hospitals are closing and health insurance is being driven out of reach of too many due to the number we have. What we need is relief, not to increase the rate of immigration further.
Also, how can they pretend it has border security when it doesn't mention the visa exit tracking system homeland security is trying to defer the deadline for again, and actually HALVES the amount of fencing ALREADY signed into law in October?
A big sell out.
