Would it be easier to enforce immigration laws and secure the border if most illegals were white?
There are groups like MALDEF, La Raza, and numerous other segregated race based groups for hispanics and hispanic, spanish language media.
Lets say that we had a poor white country on our southern border instead, and most people spoke a foreign language other than spanish. Would you still see the race based illegal immigration advocacy groups and the racist and bigot labels being thrown at people opposed to people living here illegally? Would it still be seen as racist to demand people learn english? Would people be as afraid to speak out against illegal immigration and actually enforce our laws?
If most illegals were white would some of these groups that hate whites still want to bring in millions of people from south of the border?

People who play the race card are only establishing their own ignorance.
America is a nation of laws passed by representatives of the people. When one law is routinely broken and/or unenforced, it engenders disrespect for all laws. What we currently have is an unsecured border across which millions of people have come in defiance of our immigration law. It matters not a whit what is their economic status, their skin color or their religion. What matters is the law. We, that is American citizens, are expected to obey the law or face the consequences. Why should law breakers be given anything that people who obey the law aren't?
Yes it would. You would no longer have pro illegals as they seem to only want to allow illegal mexicans into this country. They would be demanding the whites be deported immediately.
Those particular groups, wouldn't, no. In fact, the negotiator for La Raza in the gang of 12 negotiations purportedly said 'we don't want to let just ANYONE in' in response to the idea of a point system, which most think would benefit Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe more than Latin America.
