You married him for better or for worse. If you want to be together, find a country that would accept you both, or accept and adjust to the separation. No country upholding integrity, safety and protection of their citizens should pander to those who don't fit into the laws that justify entries into them. I'm sure there is some third world nation that might be willing to take both of you!
Well, if it was my wife and I wanted to see her, there's no way they could stop me.
First off, travel between the two is a pain but there are hundreds, if not thousands, of people who cross at the border checkpoints on a daily basis or at least a few times a week. Lots of people used to cross the border daily to gamble in Windsor until they legalized it in Detroit. Daily crossing is a pain but doable.
Secondly, there are thousands of miles of what amounts to unprotected border. If I wanted to walk across the border in northern Minnesota and I was willing to get far enough out into the woods that no patrols were going to come find me (and they don't), there is no way they are stopping you. If you're willing to brave the mosquitos, swamps, lakes, bears, streams, and rivers, then off you go. Point is...it's not like it's the iron curtain. If you two want to get together that bad then they really can't stop you. No way.
Move to Mexico. Before long, you two will probably have the whole country to yourselves.I don't see why he can't go to Canada.I always thought that Canada gave a visa to anybody that showed up on it's shores.Or you could sneak back here.At least you speak English.Unlike the 12,000,000 illegals from the south.
This is ridiculous.. the fact that thousands of illegal Mexicans hop the border everday and yet a sensible honest person like you cannot make it in from a country like Canada. All I can say is thank god 2008 is coming up and a new election will be underway to get the ape out of the White House.
