Well I get 20 spam mails a week from Nigeria, so that's around 1000 every year getting into crime. So 90% of the Nigerians I hear from are into fraud. Unless I really have $40million coming my way
its a rogue country, nigerians are most of the time involved in things like narcotics trafickking and sexual assaults. tentatively: 25-30%
It's scary but over 99% of them are. Amazing how this one country has so many fraudsters in it. If you notice, other African nations aren't heavily into that so no argument can or should be made about race, but this place is a cesspool. Their internet connections should be shut off.

thats like saying what percentage of Europeans are racist you can't really say i think only about 2 to 3% of nigerian are involved but the media and other parties makes it look as if every nigerian is a fraudest every jamaican is a yard drug seller every english man in a suit is a investment banker etc . what about asking what percentage of nigerians work in the NHS or transport for london

I really hate myself for saying it, but whenever I hear or see a Nigerian or West African accent or address, I automatically do not trust it.
However, the scams are usually harmless as they are carried out by people who are clearly idiots. I have had quite a lot of fun promising these cretins the earth, and getting them to do all manner of stupid acts for the sake of money they will never get. It is quite good fun, and I would encourage you to do it

100%+. Why "+"? Because many of them go under multiple identities to induce suckers in western countries to fall for their fraudulent misrepresentations, their phony e mail offers.
NOTE THIS: They are so cunning that they induce the victim to be a party to their fraud by the methods of getting the victim to agree to various things inch by inch as the fraud moves forward. They then can say, if they are ever apprehended (which never has yet happened) that it was a conspiracy between themselves and the person they tried to and succeeded in defrauding, to get money that neither of them were entitled to, and thus, scare the victim away from filing charges against them, by telling the victim, "if you have us arrested, we will show that you were part of the scheme too".
GET WISE. STAY CLEAR OF ALL AFRICANS WHO E MAIL OR USE THE REGULAR MAILS TO STEAL.Always note that they obliterate the real mailing address on the e mail so it cannot be traced - they put on the form they e mail to you a purported e mail address which really does not exist, to make you think its real. Its simply on their form, printed irregularly so it cant be readily read,

I don't know but they really need to round them up and lock them up for a few years doing hard labor, cause they obviously don't want to do any work. Maybe if they were forced to work instead of bilking people out of money they might learn a lesson. For those of you getting regular spam, make sure you copy the headers and send it back to the abuse department. Hopefully it will cut down on the flow.

Nigeria is a one BIG SCAM itself
we all know there is fraud commited by nigerians, however to accuse most of the population is wrong. being nigerian myself i know many other families and friends who are not scammers, it's only a minority who are creating bad reputations. it's not right to categorise all under the same reputation. there are many hardworking nigerians in Europe and Africa, but rarely do the media focus on their positive contributions, only the negative created by the greedy.
based on my experience and the amount of emails I get from them saying theyve got $45,000,000 in the bank in Lagos that they need my help to get out of the country id say about 99 - 100%
