It's not suprising. We can't racially profile people, but we do know that some of the Iraqi's coming here are here to cause trouble. SO the only solution is tostrengthen our position to prevent all illegal immigrants in coming.
Message to the pros-side. I know it's inappropriate to racially profile Hispanics, so It's wrong to racially profile Muslims also. How are we going to prevent the radicals from coming in if we don't protect our borders? Either we prevent all illegal immigrants or we let everyone come in, including those who are angry at the war. WHen the illegal immigrants come here, I would assume they don't want to have a bomb blow up in our country. We can't just pick up and question Muslims, because it is wrong, so we need to force everyone through a long screening process to make sure they come here with good intentions.

On on side, we have no idea who is coming in or their intentions. The other thing is Iraqi has diseases that if left unchecked and infected Iraqis are smuggled into the country, we will have a problem on our hands.
The other hand, we the US are responsible for their country's current situation. If we gave them through background checks and health checks and they come out clean, then we should be able to let them in.
If there is money to be made people will try to make it.
Like I've said before..Leave some of the troops in the Middle East to find BinLaden and then send the rest home to protect our boders. If we were attacked tomorrow, we wouldn't have enough troops left to protect us here because stupid Bush thinks we should stay in Iraq and help there government....well p*** on them. Let them blow up their own people until they're all gone and send our troops home to protect us here!

It's wide open there, of course the Iraqi's will take full advantage of it just like the mexicans. This didn't just start and I've been worried about this for a long time. I guess if it keeps up, there won't be much for mexico to illegally immigrate into, huh? But, on the flip side, look at how the 9/11 team got here...that is even scarier.
Just another reason to secure the border with a sturdy fence which is heavily patrolled, well-lit, motion sensors, with border patrol outposts every 100 miles with rapid-response capability (helicopter as well as ground response teams).
No more unscreened, unqualified, no matter where they are from. Let the people smugglers go hoe corn or haul fish nets for a living.
